We had to ask everything ourselves about the hotel.||Breakfast time on a Sunday is until 10 AM, far away from convenient. Especially since check out is until 11 AM.||We arrived for breakfast at 9:57 and nobody was there. When entering the kitchen to ask for coffee we were TAUGHT that breakfast had to be completed by 10:00. Not really service mentality. After complaining we got our coffee and finished everything in 15 minutes. Horrible experience with the one person responsible for breakfast making so much noice in the kitchen that one could hardly talk to each other. Read moreThe hotel is a renovated old building in an old German city, inside the old city walls. |From our room we could see the city gate from which you can walk to the Donau in one minute. Unfortunately, you cannot see the river herself from the room.|Our room, the suite, was located on the first floor, which we could only reach by stairs.|The nice thing about the open stairs was that you could still see the very old stairs through it, as you could still sea lot of the old building.|Car parking was available but one block away from the hotel.|The suite was of course spacious, with a very good bed and nice luxurious bathroom.|With one of the windows open, the noise from early Wednesday morning traffic (setts) was a bit loud, though.|We had one other room on the ground floor in the same wing of the building and one room on the ground floor that was to be reached by crossing the internal open square.|Breakfast in the morning was a typical German style proper breakfast.|Good...
