My room was okay, rather modern and clean. However the Internet speed is lacking. Check-in and check-out was so-so, friendly but slow.||||The restaurant however was a disappointment. The menu sounds good, a lot of fish dishes, mixed with some varieties of meat, very little if you are a vegetarian. However service and kitchen had a really bad day. The waiter constantly mixed up who ordered what, wanted to remove bread before we were done and so on. When the food arrived, one colleague had fish which was almost raw. He had it go back to kitchen, it took 10 minutes, came back and was still not cooked properly, the side dishes were cold by now however. I had veal filet which was roasted dead. Also the breakfast is uninspired, just okay. Read moreBooked a room for my wife and I for our stay in Koblenz for our honeymoon, and LARUS went above and beyond! They graciously accommodated us checking in and having dinner even though we got to the hotel a bit late. Our dinner was absolutely phenomenal. Jacob was a delight in both his service and his conversation! Our room was very nice and well-kept. One thing of note: if you want a room with windows facing the Rhine, you'll probably need to specifically request it. Our breakfast was also delicious, and the staff were very helpful when it came time to check out. They were able to call a taxi for us to help us get back to the train station, and even gave us a free packaged lunch because some other guests ordered one but forgot to take it. We'll definitely be returning to the Reinhotel LARUS if and when we ever...
