Diamondel Lodge — Hotel in Accra

Honestly I had a great time staying here, especially after I've made a mess of my room and the cleaners comes and give it a clean slate, Ouuuuuh, so fresh and nice.

Pros Quite spacious Friendly staffs(mostly women) Clean environment Ok price.

Cons Water speed. One needs to always call the front desk people to pump it and thats a bit of a hassle for the price one is paying. Internet availability. The internet tends to go off when there is no power and thats not good, it should be connected to an inverter or something. Also the speed should be improved. Breakfast should be delivered to one's room without paying 5GHC, it makes no sense. Not after paying 300ghc per night. Customer satisfaction should be a priority, the workers struggled to deliver my requests to my room, most times it felt like I was asking for too much for them to bring some items to my room. Not cool.

Overall I'll lodge here again if I'm on a budget, I really had a nice...

Great hotel and the price is totally reasonable. Amazing staff and breakfast available on every day, you can even request your meal to be delivered to your room for 5 cedis. The hotel has it's own generator not to forget to mention so when the lights cut off you won't notice and you have free WiFi. In addition, the location is amazing, you have the "high way" really close but it's super quiet in the night, as well as a police station nearby, I definitely recommend this place for a comfortable accommodation whenever you plan on staying in Accra. I love Diamondel. Their rooms are very big and modernised. The staff is very accommodating and flexible. I was there to dress up for my wedding and the photographers were able to take good shots from their staircase and room. They however need to improve their management skills and master hospitality ethics.
