Maglab Hotel — Hotel in Accra

If you are a on budget vacation, you get crappy hotels such as this. The hotel is located far off the main road on a terrible, terrible road.||||Hotel look busy, but smells. Air conditioning was so noisy that I had to switched it off. It took me extra 10 minutes to shower because water runs in torrents. The electricity was gone for over 40 minutes and nothing was said to it. You have to go to the restaurant for breakfast which was a crappy toast bread.||||No wifi in the room contrary to what I saw online, they said to come downstairs for wifi access.||To leave the hotel is war, they called a cab for me who charged me twice the normal rate. The lady at the Kitchen was so rude too. I was meant to stay 6 nights but I stayed a night.||||The one good thing is they accepted credit/pos for payment. Just stayed one night at the Maglab||||OK good points or POINT||||It was quiet and the Air con worke||||OK bad points||||Its down the worst road I have ever seen||||No Running hot Water||||Smells||||Tried to rip me off when paying, Booked Via Booking .com on line for 70 Cedis night||||On The women with a Attitude Problem, said, YES but are rates are more expensive that booking !!!!! I dont care i was thinking, I booked on line at the price stated, Ended up just leaving the cash and walked out||||Would never go back||||Oh yes NOT flexible with Breakfast, As i was a little late They stopped serving||||Most other places in Accra will give you breakfast most anytime the day||||SO BAD marks...

This place is a dump. I stayed Sunday through Thursday and couldn't take it anymore. I had to find somewhere else to stay. No one ever offered to clean the room and when I finally asked to have the room cleaned they swept and mopped the bedroom floor and that was it. The bathroom was never cleaned and smelt like sewage. The air conditioner worked but emitted scorching fumes. They say free WiFi but that was not my experience I couldn't get one station to come through. The room was damp. The refrigerator didn't cool. There was no hot water and when we complained we were told we were supposed to request hot water. The worst experience I've ever had. I will never suggest...
