I had the worst experience when I decided to lodge at Indigo Cottage over the weekend. After successfully going through the booking process, I got to the hotel only to realize that the rooms were fully booked. I expressed my displeasure and asked for a refund to enable me get a new place, as I was tired from the trip from Accra to Kumasi. But to my utmost disappointment, nothing was done about it, and I had to go through the hustle of finding extra money for a new place. Die Unterkunft macht nach außen hin einen guten Eindruck. Im einzelnen: Saubere Zimmer, nettes Personal, gutes Frühstück, welches wir dazu gebucht haben. Gebucht haben wir das 2-Zimmer-Apartment. Aus der online-Beschreibung wird leider nicht ersichtlich, dass nicht jedes Zimmer einen eigenen Washroom hat. Toilette und Dusche sind getrennt, müssen aber von den Gästen beider Zimmer gemeinsam genutzt werden. Auch nicht in der Anzeige erkennbar: ein Zimmer ist ausschließlich zum Schlafen gedacht, aufhalten kann man sich dort nicht, dazu ist es zu klein. Das Hauptschlafzimmer hat ein vorgelagertes Wohnzimmer mit drei Sitzmöglichkeiten. Hier fehlte ein vierter Sessel, denn hierher wurde uns das Frühstück gebracht. Wir waren hier mit 2 Paaren. Wie soll das gehen? In der Küche gab es sage und schreibe 2 Kaffeetassen, auch keine weiteren Trinkgefässe. Es gab eine Gabel, ein Messer und ein Löffel! Und das alles in einer Selbstversorgerküche! Ausgelegt ist das Apartment für 4 Personen. Meinen Sterneabzug gibt es für diese Einschränkungen. Ansonsten ist das Indigo eine wirklich schöne Unterkunft mit funktionierender Aircondition...
