Buyer beware! Before I tell you details, I want to give a shout out to our waitress Grace who was the embodiment of her name. She was kind and understanding and did her best to make up for the shortcomings of this so called resort. My family and I visited this establishment and nothing lived up to any of our expectations. We purchased the weekend special which was 250 cedis per person. There were six of us and we sent in our meal orders prior to our arrival per their request. Upon our arrival we had to place our food orders again because no one took a look at our order when we sent it in 1.5hrs earlier. The food took forever to arrive and it was all cold and also we were expected to share plates even though we all ordered as individuals. We were also sold a boat “cruise” prior to arrival and it was a couple minutes canoe ride across the River Densu to get to the beach. For all the reviews saying this beach was clean, it was disappointing to see plastic bottles, rubber bags and other trash strewn around and coming out of the water. They could try to clean this beach for charging an entrance fee. The bathrooms had no running water and were filthy since no one could flush the toilets. When we informed management of all the things that weren’t done well and asked that they consider giving us access to the pool to make things right, they refused and said we could come back next time and pay for the pool package. SMH. See below for the photo of the cruise boat 🙄

Mitigate would be the appropriate word to describe my experience at Bojo. Not the first nor the last , I would say , the only disturbing part of going to the beach is the food policy. Why would you force people to consume your products by any mean. Since it is a beach and there is a paid fee attached to the entrance, I think it may be up to the client's choice to bring any food they would like but just to keep the place clean. Anyways , I did enjoy the new sign board they did add , it makes the place more attractive and again z the entrance fee policy may be a little bit hard to understand. From 0 to 4 is free and from 5 to 10 it costs 15 and from 10 going, It costs 30 ghana. Please , I do think the math does not add up. Why would someone above 10 would be paying as adults? To whom it may concern , I think , from 18 going would be adequate. Once again , it is just my humble review , not me trying to downgrade anything. Although taxes are added to items bought and prices are on the high side for me , the beach is enjoyable and also the fact that it may be sometimes less crowded makes it decent. Apart from that , anybody is entitled to any judgment.

Bojo Beach is a private beach, so a small entrance fee of is required to gain access. I don't know why a printed ticket of ¢20 was redesigned to look ¢30 and was issued to me. (Last time I visted was in January 2022, so keep in mind, there could be price hikes whenever they refill their ink). If you're new to the white sand beach, you'll enjoy a little canoe ride from the entrace to the beach after paying for your ticket. The food is nothing special but it can delay on occasional days due to high demand so be prepared to wait for 30+ minutes. You can get coconut juice or any drink of your choice from the mini bar, while waiting. The staff at the beach could be another reason for your re-visit if you love good service because they're simply the best! Look out for horse rides and the lifeguards who are always looking out for your safety! There's a spacious car park for everyone so go with your family or friends... Or both!

We stayed here twice—once in October 2024 and again months later after being offered a complimentary stay due to power outages and a dusty, unprepared room during our first visit. Unfortunately, the second experience was just as disappointing.||||Despite confirming the stay in advance, the staff had no record of it. We were interrogated at check-in, asked to provide proof and the name of the staff member who made the offer—even though the hotel’s communication is unsigned and staff wear no name tags. When we showed proof of our complimentary stay, the staff still did not check-us in right away and instead bickered back and forth about the person who could have granted us the stay. Eventually, we were given a room, but not before prolonged confusion and highly unprofessional behavior from staff.||||The issues didn’t stop there: we had to ask for basic things like wristbands for free beach access, and the WiFi password because staff forgot to give us at check-in. In the evening, a different staff member was at the front desk and when we inquired about something, she also began to interrogate us and ask for details about our complimentary stay which had already been provided hours earlier. We were never provided a welcome drink that came with our booking.||||The room itself was in poor condition. While there was working electricity this time, there was no functioning A/C, no hot water, the door bolt was broken, and there was an overpowering smell of camphor. ||||In all my years of travel, this is easily the worst hotel experience. Bojo Beach Resort is disorganized, poorly maintained, and far from the "luxury" it claims to offer. It is an overpriced, frustrating experience I would not recommend to anyone. Do not stay here if you value your...

We were definitely surprised to find a gem at the end of a dusty, rocky road. We were greeted upon arrival and led to a VERY spacious room that had a balcony overlooking the lush grounds. It was lovely to look out through the coconut palms and see the stretch of sand for a very long way. We had fresh fish, prawns and lobster - even the tomatoes tasted so sweet and flavorful. The highlight of the meals were the Ghanaian specialties. I felt like there was an auntie in the kitchen blending spices and secrets to plate our meals everyday. The hotel is adjacent to a beach that non-guests pay a small fee to enter. I imagine it wold be crowded and littered and out of control were it not for this gatekeeper. As a hotel guest, my quick boat ride was free. The beach was fairly empty when I went, which I was glad for. There were not any chaise loungers but the attendant quickly put a chair under a thatch hut . I was offered a menu but did not eat anything while on the beach. There were no annoying vendors which was a huge PLUS; only a horseback rider who kept it moving when I declined. The sunrise, and the sunset couldn't have been more beautiful. Hats off to the hotel servers (Carol, Linda) and the cooks, they made sure that the food was always worth waiting for. Don't be in a hurry, just relax with a glass of wine and the Afrobeats playing through the ocean breeze. Even the housekeepers, Janet and Grace, were super sweet and conscientious going out of their way to do our laundry as our luggage was delayed. Thank you to the owner for helping arrange many trips to the airport to try to recover our luggage. The managers were extremely accommodating, even offered us a bottle of wine to take away our troubles upon arrival. It was a stay...
