Maks Resort Ada — Hotel in Greater Accra Region

The surrounding of the hotel is okay but inside the room where i slept the cleaning was very bad. The bathroom glasses were very filthy and the water heater hardly worked. Could not get water hot enough and it even took a hole night for it to warm to a temperature of about 20 degrees. The fridge in my room was rotten from outside so i didn't even have a look on the inside. The corridors looked clean. But the tables in my room were not well cleaned. Also the bathroom sink didn't look all that nice. And 1personel i had to deal with looked like he did want to be there with his unprofessional looks. I stayed only 2 nights yet it was a relief for me to leave when my time was up. For anyone who looks for higher standards,I will not recommend this hotel.

After this review the owner of the hotel wrote i wasn't in their hotel and this is what i have to say.

My review is as a result Google location services asking for my review. Which means even Google located me at your hotel. And there can be no doubt i was in the hotel.

So instead of trying to make me look like a lair you can use this review to make the necessary improvement.

Cause what i wrote is simply the truth and nothing more.

And i have no reason to discredit anyone's business with a lie.

But just as i use other people's review to make some choices. I also wanna be of help to other people to make right choices.

Hi, This all the reviews based on your service which is Given by you , we are Visitor and we know the Hotel rules and regulations if you take Client review as a advice and take a Action against the Manager and that time whatsoever team available at the place then you know ,how your people behave with the clients , we are families and we know what's we talk. That day seriously we feel we are baggers and we are staying in your hotel at free of cost.. But seriously what's ever answers you give is doesn't matter to us we seriously disappointed by your hotel and service and stopped cheating to people and refund our money. That we are trying to call the Owner pls come at place and resolve but No one is ready to Give the Number is this good ..you know hom much we spent to come to your place from our country to Ghana you seriously don't know...we just requested to accommodate two Children in the same room and we requested for we are tired pls allocated the room because we already paid the deposit and remaining payment we pay right now one person doing formality and remaining wants to checking the room. As a Owner or Management you have serious about world third class service and Hotel otherwise one day you have to sold out nobody wants to stay.. We had a lovely stay at Maks Resort. The environnement is serene, sitting right by the river side and the atmosphere is great. It is a nice spot to relax for a few days. ||The pictures do not do the place justice, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Mango trees in the courtyard, flowers...||Our highlights:|- The staff was very kind, accomodating and helpful. They were happy to answer our questions and queries.|- Bedding was comfortable.|- We had a river view with our own balcony and it was stunning (see picture).|- The AC made the heat much more bearable.|- Hot water in the shower with good pressure.|- Private parking with a security guard.||With a few efforts on cleaning (sheets, breakfast service) it will deserve 5 stars. ||They offer boat tours that start right from the pier in front of the resort but we did not try it. It seems worth it if you are a group of 8 so you can split the cost. If you are a smaller group, you will find cheaper ones around town (check Ada Tourism Stakeholders Association).|They also have a restaurant on site, but we did not try it ourselves. ||They host group retreats, creating a fun and friendly atmosphere.
