Pemicsa Hotel — Hotel in Greater Accra Region

This hotel is a budget hotel with a little sophistication due to the multiple use of their key card. The rooms are spacious enough with in-built bathroom, a comfortable bed, flat screen, mini refrigerator and a desk. It's really cheap compared to most hotels in Accra; less than 150 gh cedis a nite!!! They do throw in a free breakfast which I recommend you remind them if you would want the free breakfast to avoid any disappointments. Don't expect a restaurant! Expect a cold shower!!||||Don't expect the staff to be too formal and or sophisticated in their services; it's a budget hotel. They nonetheless aim to please. Avoid the pool and everything would be fine. ||||If you want your room to be re-cleaned simply ask after leaving your key with the receptionist. Expect toilet paper and lavish soap! I spent a weekend (Friday evening to Sunday morning) at Pemicsa Hotel in December 2018 when I attended a friend's wedding. The only reasons I chose it were because it was a very short walking distance to both the bride's residence and the wedding venue (Baatsona) and it was quite cheap. The room in which my toddler and I slept in on Friday night's bathroom had a little problem and I almost checked out but when I reported it to reception on Saturday morning, they changed the room for me with no hesitation. I also was totally not expecting the simple but very nice breakfast of tea, fried eggs and slices of bread that was brought to my room in the morning. The staff are also very nice and super friendly. Hotel rates in Accra is just too high. This is one of affordable and decent hotels I chose to stay at. Location is not too far Kotoka International Airport and Accra Mall. Clean room and shower. Just the basic stuff to have peaceful and restful sleep. The room has a fan and cold A/C(a relief for the Accra heat, a comfortable Bed. Plus to my surprise they brought me my breakfast to my room (room service!!)- see pictures included.
