My experience at the backyard was quite enjoyable, although there were a few minor hiccups. Firstly, the food did take a bit longer to reach our table than we anticipated. However, once it arrived, we were treated to a delightful assortment of jollof rice that truly satisfied our taste buds. The jollof rice was perfectly cooked and had a wonderful blend of flavors. What made it even more exciting was the inclusion of different meats, which added a delightful variety to the dish.

Now, let's talk about the jollof rice with supposed spicy wings. While the overall taste was fantastic, we did find that the chicken wings fell a bit short in terms of spiciness. Instead of the expected kick, they had diced peppers on them, which still added a nice touch of flavor but didn't quite deliver the promised heat. It would have been even better if the wings had lived up to their spicy reputation.

On a positive note, we were impressed with the packaging of our meal. The food was neatly packed, ensuring that it arrived in good condition and maintained its freshness. This attention to detail in the packaging definitely added to the overall experience.

The food here is delivery/pickup only. This is literally someone’s backyard and there is no sign indicating the location. You can only call to order and the menu is available only in their Instagram stories. However.... the food is sinfully delicious. It was a whim decision my husband and I made to check these guys out one evening and boy, were we pleasantly surprised!

We ordered the beef sub, fried rice, wings, and “herby potatoes”. Everything was really good. It was clear that the flavors, textures and presentation were well-developed and very intentional. My husband is a picky eater but enjoyed this meal A LOT.

Found Backyard Foodstop on Instagram and to be honest it looked too good to be true. My friend however tried it and had only positive things to say so I decided to try them out

My order was the Yardman combo. It had 1grilled lobster, 1 grilled prawn, 4pcs mozzarella stuffed potatoe balls, a generous amount of spicy chicken wings, fries and herby potatoes for 135 GH cedis. Delivery was 15ghc. For the portion I think the price was reasonable.

I honestly loved everything and recommend it. I personally had a smooth experience ordering and my delivery came surprisingly fast.
