I stayed two nights at this hotel, and I had a very good stay.||The hotel is in the outskirts of Tamale, meaning it is quiet and removed from the hustle and bustle of Tamale.||Rooms are large and spacious. The rooms are well-furnished with a writing desk, chair, two bed side tables, a large sitting cushioned chair, a massive wall cabinet for luggage storage with shelving and hangers, a mini fridge, as well as a small table where the electric kettle and tea/coffee making supplies sit. The room also had a flat screen television with various International (English) channels. ||Wifi is password protected and securely tied to your room. Wifi signal was strong in the room and throughout the hotel. The strange thing about the Wifi is that it can only be linked to one device. If you try to link it to multiple devices, you run an error. The hotel found a work around for me, by setting up two unique logins, to use on each device and this was very much appreciated! Air conditioning was in good working order and kept the room cool! There were various international (UK, North American inputs) electrical sockets throughout the room, making charging your devices a breeze.||The bed was a little on the soft side, but comfortable nonetheless. The pillows were large and wonderful, nice firmness, and the comforter and bedding felt fresh and new. I had a nice sleep both nights!||The bathroom was spacious and had great design! Large, new toilet, sink in good working order and large walk-in shower. The water was warm (not hot), but the water pressure was a little on the low side. The bathroom had a bath towel, a hand towel, and a floor mat. There were no toiletries provided other than a bar of soap. Lucky I had my own! Including those things would have made the hotel exceptional!||The hotel has a restaurant and bar on site, upstairs. The food is very good and it is very very well priced. For dinner, I ordered the beef steak with vegetables and it cost $30 Cedi (just over $3-$4 USD at the current exchange rate). There are many choices, but they did run out of chicken that evening which would have been my first choice. Just be aware that the menu prices don’t match the actual prices. They’ve updated the prices and should provide the correct menus to match. I asked to see the prices on the computer screen prior to ordering so I knew what I was paying.||Breakfast is also served upstairs, beginning at 7:00am. Breakfast is made to order - they give you a paper order sheet where you tick off the options you would like to have from each category: coffee/tea, eggs made to order, bread/toast with spreads, chicken sausage/baked beans, steamed mixed vegetables, fresh cut fruits. I had coffee (Nescafé), the omelette, steamed mixed vegetables, chicken sausage (read: hot dog!), and fresh cut fruits and all were excellent. From time to order to breakfast served, it was about 5 mins, so extremely fast. I appreciated this as I was in a rush both mornings.||Reception is 24 hours a day, and staff are very professional, friendly and helpful!||Overall, a very good hotel in Tamale and I would...
Read moreOur room was clean and well air conditioned. The toilet did not flush well, but there was a bucket there, allowing me to get water from the shower to flush it. There was no fan in the bathroom, so our room got rather stinky while I tried to get the toilet to flush. I could not get water to come out through the shower head, but it came out through the wand, which worked for me. A single coffee cup was provided, along with a electric kettle to boil water, one tea bag and one sachet of instant coffee. A second cup would have been appreciated because when we got up in the morning at 7 AM, the time we had discussed with the management when we arrived, the cook was not present, which delayed our breakfast and our departure. The internet password we were given when we arrived allowed us to connect to the network, but there did not actually seem to be any internet. The towel rack in the bathroom kept falling off of the wall. Everyone we dealt with there was friendly and helpful, so it wasn't a bad experience, but not...
Read moreI attended a wedding reception nearby several months ago. My husband and I decided to stay here. I enjoyed this place more than my stay at Regal or any other place in Tamale. Our room was clean, small but polished well for an overnight stay. The bed was soooo comfy. The building is kept well and the craftsmanship is on point. The food was very good. I cannot recall the customer experience. Don’t expect good customer service anywhere in the North. It’s not emphasized I guess. This is not America. Sprinkle your sunshine and keep it moving. It was a pleasant stay and I highly recommend this place if you come to Tamale and are not too difficult of a person to please. The location. 😑 It’s Tamale, what can I say? It’s like a little rose surrounded by a dusty jungle but once you enter their site, you’re good. The place in my opinion is the best place for a good nights rest. Everything is better in quality compared to the...
