Malisel Hotel — Hotel in Volta Region

Dirty place with an angry lion as the owner. Insult guests with harsh words as “you has no parents at home”.||I was checked into room No.115 on the 1/12/2022 and it was a mess in there. Dirty washroom, door locks not functioning properly. Was room locks spoilt. Dirty Pillow cases.||There was a rain on the 02/12/2022 at Ho, and my room was like a colander. I begged the angry lion to change the room for me and it took more than an hour before he accept to change and by the time I got to my room (115) all my things are soaked with dirty leaked water. ||A disastrous place to have a night or days.|I checked out and packed bags and belongings at the reception to find a cab, this man who called himself the owner (angry lion) asked me to pack my things from the Reception and keep them outside the hotel before finding a cab.||Neatness 10%|Services 10%|House...

They can be found on the internet and they have CCTV cameras for your safety and the front desk officer Esinam is particularly very friendly and helpful. The guest house is opposite the Societe Generale bank but you need to struggle to locate because you need to drive through a narrow driveway which can be dark in the night. You would need to find your breakfast because it is not a bed and breakfast. The standard rooms are ghc100 and the best room at their standard are for 220ghc. The standard rooms look like rooms for "short time" clients. The TV sets sometimes do not work and some of the rooms still have the ancient TV sets. Cleaning is not the best and you can see dust and cobwebs. The doors have some weird designs. The place if completed may need some professional management to rub shoulders with other hotels in the Volta...

I got talked into the nicest room available on check in - with AC and hot water||||Pros:||- central location||- super super friendly staff||- good AC (in AC rooms)||||Cons:||- room just felt filthy||- no wifi||- bed linen was not clean at all||- the staff have this frustrating habit of turning off your water supply all the time.
