Our time at Floating Villa was a rejuvenating breath of fresh air after some difficult traveling through some other West African countries. It was the perfect base for exploring Nzulenzo stilt village - the boat trips start right outside the front door! The thoughtful design and aesthetics of the villa and the surrounding nature was some of the best we’ve encountered in some time. Also, our host, Daniel, went out of his way to ensure a very pleasant and accommodating stay. Even when the electricity cut out (common in this remote area during rainy season), he made sure the generator kept the very good wifi and hot water available. It was so close to the beach, Beyin, and the world famous Nzulezu (a floating village in the forest). The staff is amazing and can give great recommendations of what to do during your stay.
