Porto Lagos Rooms — Hotel in Abdera Municipality

Location is good near the national road, rooms are big, you have also a small kitchen, so this place is probably acceptable if you need ONLY ONE NIGHT stop for charging your batteries and leaving next morning. The owners are nice and friendly. They have given us good details about the area and the beaches except Porto Lagos beach. Porto Lagos beach is very bad so don't choose this location for swimming !

Otherwise furniture is old and extremely noisy same as the cars and the motorcycles on the road. Neighbor's dogs are barking terribly each evening.

The cleaning lady came once but also after she finished in the room it remained a strange smell, like a dog smell. Cleaning is not so good as the pictures prove it.

WiFi is slow and it is loosing connection all the time.

Unfortunately during the nights spent here we had a problem also with the other guests who were smoking cigarette after cigarette for hours near our windows and all their smoke was entering in our room. We had to choose between cigarette smoke and dog smell and eventually we closed...

Everything about this property is perfection - idyllic location, beautiful grounds by the river, spacious and well appointed room. Katerina and her husband who were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a lovely room behind the house overlooking the garden and river. Our dog loved it although the ducks did beat a hasty retreat when they saw him. It is located in a great location by the river...I saw it by chance while passing by the road and entered...2 types of certified olive oil are sold...the early harvest extra virgin one has a strong aroma...the shop owner Katherina makes a good promotion...at the same time they run a boutique hotel here as a family...natural handmade soap is also sold...I recommend...

Βρίσκεται σε μια εξαιρετική τοποθεσία δίπλα στο ποτάμι...το είδα τυχαία περνώντας από το δρόμο και μπήκα...πωλούνται 2 είδη πιστοποιημένου ελαιολάδου...το έξτρα παρθένο της πρώιμης συγκομιδής έχει έντονο άρωμα...η ιδιοκτήτρια του καταστήματος Κατερίνα κάνει καλή προώθηση...ταυτόχρονα λειτουργούν εδώ ένα boutique hotel σαν οικογένεια...πωλείται επίσης φυσικό χειροποίητο σαπούνι...το συνιστώ...
