Joleni Cottage — Hotel in Argostoli Municipality

One of our nicest holidays. The villa is spacious, well and up to date equipped (we didn't miss anything). Comfortable beds, which is not always a standard. We travelled as a family (2 adults and two teenagers), so we appreciated not only the spacious bathroom, but also second separated toilet, and of course also good wifi connection. We liked the breakfasts and dinners on the terrace. The surrounding is quiet during nights, you can sleep with open windows (in all of them there are mosquito nets). Air condition works independently in all rooms. Especially in the time of the coronavirus, we appreciated living "in solitude". Nevertheless, the villa is well located (close to the airport, the capital city, beautiful beaches). We drove around the whole island which is wonderful. Last but not least the owners Heike and Nikos were very friendly and always helpful. We would highly recommend staying at Joleni Cottage to anyone who likes peace and quiet place and also who likes to get to know the unknown places. Joleni Cottage is the perfect location for a family that wants to enjoy the beauties of Kefalonia island while remaining away from the crowd of the main touristic locations. The house is located in the village of Keramies, and is conveniently close to the most beautiful beaches, most beaches are within 5 o 15 minutes drive from the house. The house is a stand alone building with a wide sorrounding garden. The owner lives in a nearby house and is always available in case of need.

Both the inside and the outside of the house are wide, very well mantained and extremely safe if you have kids. We have enjoyed our stay and we will be looking forward to visit again...

Wir waren dieses Jahr (September 2023) bereits das zweite Mal im Joleni Cottage. Wir suchten ein freistehendes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung für unseren 14-tägigen Urlaub. Das Grundstück vom Joleni Cottage ist so groß, dass man die direkten Nachbarn nicht sehen kann. Der Empfang durch Heike war wieder sehr herzlich; wir konnten uns bei Fragen jederzeit über Whatsapp bei ihr melden. Im Kühlschrank stand bei unserer Ankunft ein "Starterset" mit Wasser, Käse, Milch, Butter und Marmelade, zudem hatte Heike noch Salz, Zucker, Kaffee, Kekse, Olivenöl, Essig, Gewürze und Nudeln bereit gestellt! Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, sauber und hatte alles was wir benötigten. Vor der Haustür war ein großer Stellplatz für unseren Mietwagen. Alle Fenster und Türen haben Fliegengitter, was uns sehr wichtig war. Die Schlafräume und die Küche/Wohnzimmer/Esszimmer haben eine Klimaanlage, die wir nicht sehr oft benötigt haben. Im großen Badezimmer steht auch eine Waschmaschine. Das Joleni Cottage hat 3 Terrassen, eine Ostterrasse mit Stühlen zum Frühstück, eine Südterrasse mit 4 Sonnenliegen und eine große überdachte Westterrasse, falls man der Sonne mal entfliehen möchte. Zudem gibt es noch eine Sitzmöglichkeit mit Tisch im Schatten eines großen Baumes. Die Betten sind gut und es gibt mehr als genug Stauraum für Kleidung etc.; in der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Es gibt einen großen TV mit deutschen Programmen und das WLAN war auch sehr gut! Der nächste Strand ist ca. 10 Min mit dem Auto entfernt. Wir waren dort 3x, waren aber auch an vielen anderen Stränden der Insel. Alles in allem hat uns der Urlaub auf Kefalonia im Joleni Cottage wieder sehr gut gefallen und wir werden sicher noch einmal...
