“I don't think you will find a more considerate or more thoughtful host in all of Greece than the utterly charming Chryssanthi. From the moment I requested her beautiful villa to the time we departed to make our return trip to the UK, Chryssanthi was on call every step of the way to make our holiday the best EVER. I cannot find a single fault with the villa, or her hospitality. A welcome basket with bottle of wines , local products, souvenirs waiting for us and the fridge was full of fresh water, ice (as the villa provides a water filtration system )and even home made lemonade with ginger and mint. She wanted to find out the ages of our kids so she could prepare something special for them (countless games, treasure troves, art boxes, painting kit, stickers, pebbles to make jewelries ) to a pool chest full of inflatables, pool games, sinkers to dive for, floats etc. Chryssanthi’s attention to detail was like nothing I have ever experienced. She advised us on the best beaches, the best restaurants and was constantly available (via whatsapp) during our stay, as if she were our personal concierge. Her attention to detail in the villa surpasses anything I've ever witnessed before: a First Aid kit bursting at the seams with everything you could possibly need from mosquito bite cream and plasters to thermometer, cotton wool, insect repellent, eye drops, analgesics, antiflammatories, blood pressure and oxygen meter .She provided a beautiful beauty box, full to the brim with everything you might need (or have forgotten) from body wash and scrubs , shampoo, extraordinary oils to nail polishes, tweezers, peeling and care creams and other beauty treats like a small beauty salon. The kitchen was brilliantly equipped, having the most special cooking tools that only a chef knows . Here, Chryssanthi has thought of EVERYTHING and supplying dishwasher tablets, washing liquid, tin foil, clingfilm, all kinds of storage bags as well as all the bowls, platters, pans etc you could possibly need - and impeccably clean and ready to use. With the same generosity she provided us with laundry tablets ,bleaching ,stain removal ,softeners. The villa itself is charming - a real home from home, with personal touches everywhere and thoughtful gestures, from pens and notepads to chessboards, candles and flowers. I cannot rate the villa - or Chryssanthi -...
Read moreThis is a fantastic villa, a great design with lots of separate ares that you can socialise or find a quiet spot to relax. This is not your usual villa in terms of all the added extras that Chryssanthi has thought about (insect repellent, sewing kit, chess / poker set and lots of other game, toiletries, nail polish, shopping bags to name but a few) We have never stayed anywhere that provides all of this. She made us feel very welcome and there was a fridge full of soft drinks (and some wine!) as a welcome. The area is very quiet (you do need a car - we hired ours via contact of Chryssanthi - cheaper than usual chains) with lovely views. There are a couple of restaurants in the village and Chryssanthi made some great recommendations of others in the area. She was also able to advise us on activities and places to visit based on our requirements. We enjoyed the morning relaxing by the pool which has lots to keep the kids amused (goggles, balls, diving weights etc) before going off to visit somewhere. Can recommend the ferry to Lixouri and hiring a motor boat to investigate the little coves the Island has (We hired 3; one in Sami, Fiscardo and Fteri beach but enjoyed the Fiscardo experience the most in terms of places to visit) The villa has beach mats, umbrellas, snorkels, flippers that you are able to take with you. You then get a great nights sleep back at the villas as the beds are very comfortable with good quality bed linen. If we visit the Island again, we will definitely book...
Read moreA beautiful villa! So well designed, appointed, spacious, spotlessly clean and so comfortable. There’s a wonderful choice of sitting areas and styles of seats, it was lovely to choose to be at ground level or balcony level, by the pool or on the front veranda, in the sun or in the shade. The villa is set in the countryside, about 1km from a village and with views of the mountains - utterly peaceful. The pool is also spotlessly clean, a really good size, and comes with some fun games equipment. The pool is lit up at night with optional garden lighting for a gorgeous late evening swim! The gardens are very well cared for and sprinkled with arty bits and pieces which makes it such a pleasant place to be. Having the use of a modern kitchen and washing machine complete with cleaning aids, soaps, etc made life easy and the wonderful hosts, Chryssanthi and Angelus, supply so many extras and helpful suggestions. Car hire would be recommended to visit the nearby capital and gorgeous local beaches, all just a short drive away. We visited larger towns around the island and each time loved to come back ‘home’ to the spacious,...
