😊: Area is outstandingly beautiful, you see the sunrise from the bedroom terrace right in front of you, amazing! Sweet lady greeted us with mountain herb tea and coffee and a bowl of fresh fruits from the garden. Pool beautiful. Terrace is as big as the room. Very quiet relaxing and perfect! There are restaurants and places to have breakfast just 2 mins away.. 😢: Bathroom too small, especially the shower, older style bathroom, needs renovation. Property is not easy to get to, if you're coming from the west side of the island you pass through a mountain range, beautiful scenic drive with winding roads. If ure coming from the north east side be careful as the road past Pilo has a part (6km) very narrow, cliff hanging dirt road. Wouldn't recommend passing from there although shorter. Would pass from route 77 then mountain range. Make sure you have fuel as none...

😊: The apartment was on the ground floor facing the pool which was amazing to wake up to every morning . The attention to detail regarding cleanliness was the best we’ve experienced in an apartment , towels for bathroom changed daily and also pool towels provide and changed daily. Bedding changed every 3 days . Maria is a very sweet host, even made coffee and a homemade treat on our arrival . She also left us a jar of honey on our last day.. 😢: Nothing really, however maybe a few more eating utensils I.e knifes etc and some bowls for eating yogurt etc . Other than that nothing else . 😊: The view is beyond amazing! The room was spacious and well-equipped with everything you may need. The owner texted ahead of time to inform us about the available facilities in the town so that we were well-prepared for our stay. The apartments (and the whole town) are very dog-friendly, you can take your dog everywhere.. 😢: The town has no market nor gas station, so you have to buy all you will need in Xalkida but the owner made sure we knew this in advance so we were prepared. That said, there is a mini market on the beach with reasonable prices but limited supplies...
