Patras Apartments & Rooms — Hotel in Fournoi Korseon Municipality

When my wife and I booked the apartment we knew it was up a steep slope, but going up and down 79 steps several times a day became a challenge for us. In truth it was blooming hard work.|The apartment itself was really lovely, with all the equipment necessary to eat on the balcony if that’s what you like to do, and we do.|However, I guess that because the apartment is up a steep hill, getting water to all the apartments isn’t easy. As a consequence every time a tap was turned on or the shower was run or the toilet flushed a water pump kicked in to keep the water pumping.|That water pump was extremely loud and could be running for a long time.|With a number of apartments and all being occupied, lots of water was being run at all times of day and night.|The pump made a truly awful noise in our room (3).|It has to be said, towards the end of our week long stay the water pump was replaced by a much quieter one albeit still just behind the apartment so the pump could still be heard.|As regards our host. We only actually saw him once when he picked us up from the port at 00.45am and drive us 100 yards to the bottom of the steps up to the apartment.|He helped us to our apartment and showed us around. Thank you Dimitris|We had a wonderful time in your apartment right on top of the hill with the most beautiful view over the harbour and the sea beyond.|The studio is very tastefully decorated, lovely bed, brilliant shower.|Dimitris was incredibly helpful when I made the booking last year, looked at ferry timetables and was very responsive to my emails.|We had the best time. Delicious food in lovely tavernas both on the harbour front and on the back streets and the square.|We stayed for a week on this beautiful island.|The apartments are very conveniently located close to the harbour front and directly next to a lovely kafenion with delicious coffee and breakfast if required.|I would heartily recommend these great studios and we would love to come back...

This was a great choice of accommodation The room was modern and fresh with good lighting, quiet aircon and a fabulous bathroom. The room maximised space with clever storage, so there was plenty of room for all our clothes. A fridge and a Nespresso machine with coffee pods refreshed every day. And room off a lovely little balcony to hang and dry clothes. The host, Dimitris, and the team in the cafe were really welcoming. They couldn't be more helpful and the room couldn't be closer to the waterfront. Dimitris went out of his way to be helpful when we mistakenly left something behind.
