Ο MILTOS — Restaurant in Fournoi Korseon Municipality

Unfortunately a disappointing experience. We selected a fish from the fresh fish cabinet which was brought to the table before we had finished our salad even though the taverna had many free tables. The fish was dry, making it chewy, most likely overcooked, as were the fried potatoes. Reported this to the owner after the meal and was offered an additional carafe of wine as compensation. Whist the wine was nice it did not compensate a basic cooking error for a kitchen specialising in seafood or the loss of what could have been a lovely meal. It was 27 years ago..... We were down in Fourni with the sweetest girl of my life. Beatiful 8 days we spent there. Every evening we had a dinner with Miltos and were never disappointed. His food and easy-going service will be never forgotten. I can’t believe that the restaurant still there. I want to visit again... Hopefully this September... BTW: the is And is beautiful, simple with classic greek feeling, the sea is just cools you down when you dip in. Go and enjoy it. You’ll never forget! Σας...

Greek tragedy. This restaurant is an excellent example of how one can take top quality fish and other ingredients and pretend to cook them. It gets two stars only because it, ironically, has fresh fish to offer but, other than that, management is stingy in charcoal for grilling, olive oil for frying etc. So so sad for the fish. They should let them swim in the bottom...
