I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Montana Lake View and I can confidently say it was one of the most soul-soothing experiences I’ve ever had. The place is a hidden gem—nestled between a serene lake on one side and majestic mountains on the other, surrounded by lush greenery that fills your heart with peace. The sound of birdsong in the morning and the fresh air make it feel like a dream retreat in nature.

The accommodation is incredibly comfortable, spotless, and thoughtfully arranged to make you feel right at home. Every detail is cared for, and you can sense the love and warmth behind it all.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful host and her lovely daughter for their exceptional hospitality. They went above and beyond to make our stay special, always kind, welcoming, and ready to help with anything we needed.

We stayed at Montana Lake View for 6 nights in October. Katerina is an incredibly hospitable and kind hostess who knows all there is to see in and around the region of Ioannina. The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. Every morning we received a delicious breakfast from Katerina (with a spectacular view of the lake and the island) and we would walk through our plans for the day. She always had some additional recommendations and was very helpful. The first night, she even drove us to the city centre so we could take a (€10) taxi back and have some drinks in Ioannina. She also arranged a guided hike with her husband Dimitri along the Aoos river to one of the monasteries near Konitsa, which was beautiful and not too hard. We can 110% recommend...

After road tripping for a few days, we chose Ioannina as our last stop. Picking Montana Lake view for our stay was honestly an amazing surprise! Miss Katerina , the owner, was amazing with us. The whole place was newly built, combining an incredible kinda Swiss kinda North traditionally Greek architecture. Incredibly cosy, beautiful, great location and view - very close to the city, perfectly clean and comfy. Really feel like there’s not enough I can say.
