Ilia Mare Hotel Italian Restaurant Cafe - Bar — Hotel in Istiaia-Aidipsos Municipality

We visited the hotel in early June. This is a wonderful quiet place especially for the rest with children. There are almost no waves in the gulf and children adored swimming there. The staff is very helpful. Maria working in the restaurant (Pharos) is a very nice and friendly woman. She always tried to please us. Our youngest one just fell in love with her and now he wants us to go there again!)) Valerios who works at the front Desk is super! He can help you to cope with different situations very quickly. His motto: you have come here to relax and don’t care about anything. And it’s true and rightly so! We didn’t want to leave that place! ———————————————————— Были в первой половине июня. В ресторане (Фарос) Мария милая приятная женщина, классная.наш младший просто в неё влюбился, говорит теперь снова у ней поедем!))) На ресепшне Валерий просто супер, кстати свободно говорит на русском. Любые вопросы сразу всё оперативно решает. Говорит «Вы приехали сюда отдыхать и ни о чем не заботиться», считаю дивиз правильный! We loved it here, well at least the first days. Beach & sea were nice, hotel was good. Breakfast was OK. Staff were nice. However without any warning or advice the last night of our holiday totally ruined it all. At approx 10pm 'music' started, I saymusic it was like some awful Turkish type wailing. At midnight we rang reception, and were advised 2am should finish. At 430 am it actually stopped. It was horrendous, loud music. We heard people putting their shutters down trying to drown it out, but as the rooms were open at the back of hotel and it appears it was a village EVENT (so we were told) at the Town Hall type place a few doors down, there was absolutley no escape from the horrendous ULTRA LOUD wailing. Although it would not have helped sleep, if we were at least advised prior we would have been prepared, maybe bought some earplugs ! That alone has put us off visiting again, what a shame. Maybe expected July/Aug but not early June ! This is why we visit Greece or other Med countries in June and not...

This was my Fiance's and my second visit in two years. We stayed from 18-25 Sept.. We were given a really spacious and tastefully decorated and exceptionally clean Maisonette with a huge balcony. The Rooms had everything you needed. Shower worked great and the aircon. was excellent. The bed is very comfortable too! The Buffet Breakfast is really good and their Restaurant has fantastic food and wonderful friendly service from Dina. The cleaning ladies are also very nice too. The Managment and Staff are very helpful and friendly and always there to assist if you need anything. We can only compliment the Management for running a really great Hotel. We have absolutely nothing bad to say about this Hotel. We just love coming to Ilia Mare and hope to be back again...
