I booked a room over the phone because I wanted to ensure that this property would accommodate a disabled member of our family. The hotel owner reassured me that the room would be spacious enough for a young couple and a disabled child, and there would be enough space for the wheelchair as well. I asked him several times if a 2-bedroom would be large enough for the three of us, and he repeatedly told me that we shouldn't worry. I decided to book through that phone call despite him offering the same price as the online platforms. Now I regret not booking online because I could have officially complained about the owner's terrible behaviour. The owner knew we would arrive late; however, I found him relaxing on the lounge couch, watching TV very loudly. I greeted him kindly twice, but the TV was so loud that he couldn't hear me. I had to raise my voice in the third greeting to get his attention; he greeted me back and continued watching his show instead of showing me the room. I was shocked by this behaviour, and after a while, I disturbed him again to ask about the room. When he reluctantly showed me the room, I was a bit sceptical about the space and the overall condition of the room and the hotel, but I thought we were very tired, so I decided to make no fuss and squeeze into that ridiculously small and uncomfortable room, let alone for a disabled person. We then tried to pull the kid on the wheelchair over that so-called ramp, whose surface was covered with bath tiles and made it extremely slippery -and dangerous too. Also, the inclination of this so-called ramp was so steep that no person should be allowed to use it anyway. When we finally got into the room, the owner didn't deliver us the key, but instead, he started complaining about us, and he said that the space was not suitable for the three of us. I agreed that it was small and unsafe, so I asked him to give us a bigger room. He said that there were no vacancies (even though most of his rooms seemed empty), so I asked him why he complained since he could not offer something better. I even offered him more money for this awful accommodation to allow us to stay for one night. He was very happy to take more money, but he then started complaining about my weight and that I would ruin his mattress if I slept on his bed. I realised that he didn't want us in his hotel for his own reasons that couldn't be explained rationally. It could be either his attitude against disabled people, his beliefs on overweight women (my husband weighs more than me, but he still complained only about my weight), or he was just frustrated that he missed his TV show to do his job. We quickly grabbed our luggage, offered him compensation for the cancellation (which he luckily declined), and ran off in the middle of the night. We had to drive back home for 2.5 hours with an exhausted child, risking her health and well-being. But we knew we'd be better off and very much safer than staying at that dodgy, awful place run by a misogynist, sexist, ableist, racist human being. I regret I didn't immediately call the police. His license should be revoked. And this place shouldn't be advertised as a disability-friendly place, since it's not accessible in any way -no decent ramps and a ridiculously...
Read moreVery welcoming family. The stay here was superb.
Despite the some what out datness of the room it felt clean was cosy and had all the necessary equipment, TV outside balcony.
Shower was good bed was comfortable. As well as this it was rather quiet which is personal to have a good night sleep.
The rooms have a double door. Which also had a fantastic way to further soundproof for a comfortable sleep as well for relaxation.
The location is in a great spot for the area, 5min walk and you will be at main "strip"
Has a decent bar as well as breakfast. The elevation of this hotel is due to family run members who truly made it a lovely warm immersive welcoming experience. They were highly thanked for their hospitality both farther and son.
Please if you stay here do so with kindness.
If there is to be a revisit I'll sure to look for this place.
I'm not sure how wheelchair users will fair only due to front door design. However give such a call before hand, as this could be a misunderstood assumption thus statement.
Due to the beautiful yet not so busy area area any missed service ammendments at the hotel were overlooked and not necessarily needed for such personal occasion.
Overall comfortable clean quiet rooms with fantastic...

Our family of four stayed at Hotel Dellis in August 2025 on our way back from Meteora to Athens. The hotel is located on a quiet street of Kamena Vourla, at the base of the mountains, which you can admire from the balcony. We had a two-bedroom suite with two balconies. It was squeaky clean, comfortable, and cooled well by the ACs. The hotel is family-owned, and the owner personally greeted us on arrival, helped with our bags, and without spending time on check-in gave us directions to the beach so we could enjoy the last couple of hours of sun and swimming. The beach was just a few min drive away and was awesome: quiet, peaceful, with crystal-clear warm water and gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains and sunset. When back at the hotel, the owner asked about our food preferences and booked us a dinner at Kavos (fish restaurant), which was pretty good. In the morning, we were served a lovely breakfast featuring fresh farm yogurt, cheeses, breads, eggs, and coffee made to order, all brought to our table by the owner himself. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and we highly recommend Hotel Dellis for a relaxing stop in...
