Camino Restaurant — Restaurant in Kamena Vourla Municipality

I was on a day trip from Athens to Meteora and this place was the recommendation for dinner. I ordered my meal online, a Greek salad and some pita bread. The tour guide said to put the time we would be arriving at the restaurant so they would know when to be ready. I did what was required.

We arrived at the specified time and I got my pita bread immediately. We were leaving 45minutes later and half an hour in I was still waiting for my salad, I asked a couple of times and eventually I got it and basically had to eat it’s quickly as possible. So frustrating, I attended another trip with the same tour organisers and went to a different restaurant.

Unfortunately, I have to say that my experience at this place was very negative. We visited today with my partner, and from the very beginning we felt unwelcome. A man in a white shirt was sitting in front of the restaurant and looked us up and down as we arrived. None of the staff made an effort to approach us or offer any service.

When our tour group finally arrived, suddenly all the staff rushed to serve the guests — not realizing that we were part of the same group. Only after I took out my camera and started taking photos did someone finally decide to come over.

The customer service was truly disappointing. I cannot recommend this place — if you are dressed in a “normal” way, they will treat you as if you are not...

This is the best restaurant in Kamena Vourla (and probably in this entire part of Greece)! The atmosphere is wonderful and very welcoming with beautiful beachy styling. Food is exceptional and their service is always 10 out of 10! They have a very wide selection of choices for food and drink , so definitely won't be a miss if you have specific requirements (e.g. gluten free or vegetarian etc.) Also highly recommended for families with children! Our little people are obsessed with their Spaghetti...
