My wife and I are in Porto Valitsa for 3 nights and I could not help myself writing a comment. We will have 5 more nights here in Eden. First and most important thing is, do not waste your time reading a few negative comments in some other websites. We are having a wonderfull holiday with our pet friends (leon, nala and their baby) and cats. They are our company while we are jogging and walking early mornings. Your surrounding in the hotel area is all greenary, with colourfull flowers and works of different kinds of art. Our room is in 5 star value. Our room is quite larger than a 5 star hotel. Even, there exists an umbrella for you that I have seen that in afew high class hotels. Everything is very well designed for your comfort. Do not need to mention your view from balcony, bar and restaurant. More beautifull than the photos in Porto Valitsa website. Next to hotel area, you can go most beautiful beaches of Halkidiki. Little cove of Porto Valitsa is just for my type. I do not like sandy long beaches. This cove is great for schnorkelling, swimming and for all other activities. Besides, you can have relax and have comfortable tanning on deck that is very closed to bar. Yesterday, we asked Mr. Panagiotis if there exists a place that we can rent a kano or kayak to see around by rowing. He organised everything for us. Next day, he found us in the restauratn and he said he had cancelled it because of windy wheather condition. He cares for you more than yourself. He and Mrs Marianna are doing their best by informing us about the things we can do in Halkidiki and secret places that can not be found in touristic guides. While we are in restaurant or bar, personnel is very professional and friendly so that they make you feel special. Porto Valitsa will be our destination...
Read morePorto Valitsa isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a place to feel.
There’s something deeply personal about this hideaway. From the moment you arrive, you don’t feel like a guest — you feel like you’ve returned to your own seaside retreat. The kind of summer house you always dreamed of having, where everything is thoughtfully curated, but nothing is showy.
The hospitality is real. Not rehearsed or transactional — but human, warm and instinctive. It’s the kind of care that makes you exhale and truly unwind.
The design of the suites, the serenity of the surroundings, the attention to detail… everything speaks of quiet quality. You can sense it in the linens, in the materials, in the stillness of the view, in the respect for nature. It’s refined, but never pretentious. Elegant, but always grounded.
Porto Valitsa isn’t trying to impress you — and that’s exactly why it stays with you.
A soulful experience that combines authenticity, comfort, and unfiltered beauty. The kind of place you carry with you long...
Read moreThey are ridiculously unprepared in terms of first aids even for the tiniest and most simple incident. I happened to step on a sea urchin and went to the bar to ask for some help and they said they had only some iodine and a pair of sugar tongs. The quality of the residents is very low and very bad behaved. There was this family from a german speaking country that were totally rude and disrespectful of the others as regards the sea. I was swimming and their children were snorkeling not caring for the others (they bumped into me two or three times while I was just floating there and they, nor their mother, never said they were sorry.) There was also a greek family there, who were behaving perfectly, preparing their stuff and then swimming and playing in the sea never bothering anyone else. They also said that the other family was like that before, so, just like I did, just avoided them. The place is beautiful but...
