The hotel is nothing spectacular, but for a family holiday it was the best place we could imagine! We stayed for 10 nights at the end of June and i would have remained there longer but business called us back home. We booked a room in the main building and we got a central front sea view room at the second floor - the sea view was fabulous! From mai point of view the bungalow rooms though quieter are a bit at the back, closer to the main road and you have to walk longer to the beach. We were happier with the main building with the beach just in front! The rooms are not with modern furniture but you have absolutely everything you need - they are large and you get a flat screen tv and a small fridge - the bathrooms are small but have hairdrier. I really expected less for the small price we paid! The matresses are very comfortable and the place is cleaned daily! The terrace was large and it was perfect at night to stay and enjoy the sea view!|The restaurant is outside just by the pool and at breakfast we had generally the same things - not very varied! The dinners were tasty and every evening the personnel prepared something else. The soups/ broth were the best we have eated! The second course consisted of different type of vegetables with fish or chicken or meat rolls. They served musaka one evening, another they served traditional greek meatrolls. We enjoyed the evening meals very much! |At late evening the place was generally quiet. Next to the hotel there is a greek garden taverna very fashionable and the is always music and young people enjoying themselves. However not later than 1 am. At night we used to drive to Paralia because it was more animated. I do not recommend the place here for young people in search of night time clubbing and enertainment - Korinos is definitely a place for families and ideally a place for families with children! Our 2 year old son was so excited. The garden im front of the hotel had a playground - he could run around all day while we enjoyed our frappes because there was no danger there - no cars around - just the hotel garden, the playground and the large sandy beach!|About the beach .... what i liked - the beach beds were free of charge, you could order something from the bar, but it was not really necessary. Also there were more than enough beach beds nomatter how late you got to the beach - it was not crowded! The sea was in the first days not very clear - and there were some algaes brought on the shore. They used to clean it at night but since there is no algae net in the large in Korinos one can expect not to get the crystal clear waters that you find in Halkidiki. The rest of the days the water was nice and warm and we enjoyed the sea very much! The water is shallow - you have to walk more than 30 meters in the sea to have it at shoulder level!|What can I add - it was one of our best vacations although last year we went to a 5 star hotel, i can sincerely say that we were great here! The owners of the hotel are hardworking people, friendly and helpful and they make everything in their power to make you feel welcome! |We never go twice on holiday to the same place - but we have such nice memories here we would be delighted to come...
Read moreAmazing place to enjoy the sea and calm holiday We Were here at the end of august and this place left only good memories. This hotel is located near the sea, just 1 minute and you are already at the beach. Landscapes are impeccable, especially when sun rises. There are sunbeds&umbrellas free to use, the beach itself is not crowded at all, so you can easily relax without any hustle and bustle. The sea is not cold at all, its is very warm, but a little bit shallow. The rooms in hotel are quite small and with pleasant and simple interior. Every day they were cleaned, with new bedding and towels. The staff and owners are very polite, nice and cute. They speak english/german and greek. The food was good and tasty. Breakfast is swedish line, and dinner is quite decent and big(includes soup, main course, salad and fuits). The location itself is suitable for those who seek for calmness and relax. There is a minimarket 7 minutes walk, where you can buy everything starting from food to swimsuits and sunscreen. You can also explore Paralia Katerinis, as there is a bus station opposite the hotel (the bus goes from 16:30 to 22:30 and ticket’s cost is 1,5€) or you can take a taxi. Overall, we are very glad with our staying here and definitely will come back next season. If you are looking for a holiday in greece not for all the money in the world - this place is...
Read moreWe spent our holiday three years in a raw at Kochili and I am pretty sure we will come here every next year.|Hotel Kochili is a family run hotel located right on the sandy beach. The owners are very friendly and ready to help you with anything you need.|The rooms are very cosy and clean, almost all of it have seaview or side seaview and wifi. There is also a bungalow building, but you don't have wifi signal in there.|There is a small clean pool for kids and one for adults. Sunbeds are by the pool in a green area with trees, also on the beach there are sunbeds and umbrellas near the clear water of the sea.|We ate at the restaurant of the hotel, almost every night, fresh fish and great greek dishes cooked by the owners wife and mother.|We had nothing to complain each time we were there, but if you are looking for luxury, this is not a place you will find it. But I can assure you you will find something better than luxury, for us is like home.|Thank you Mr Stelios and thanks to all your family for every effort to make us feel welcome each holiday we spent at your...
