Marie Claire Studios — Hotel in Katerini Municipality

Travelling with small child can be stresfull, but staying in this hotel was one of the best places we ever went to, considering the hospitality of the owner.I was amazed by the quality furnishing of the rooms, free internet in the room and all areas and free Air conditioning. The beds are really big and comfortable, with memory foam pillows. Nice double glazed windows, which drown any noise from outside. Lovely large balcony. But the most important is the owners. George is amazing host. He made us his own home made traditional cake, which was lovely and very generous. He went out of his way, when I got terrible migraine at night and called his wife to ask what painkillers he could give me, as I had none and was desperate for some relief. He than produced some, which saved me, as it was middle of night. Nothing is too much for him and he goes out of his way to make you feel like at home. If we ever go back, we will be staying only there. On the check out he gave us bag with souvenirs from the area and recipe for his cake. Lovely surprise. I wish everyone was like this man. I was in 2010 in Marie-Claire. I discover a place with Soul! A very beautiful building, very well equiped. Cleaning of the room perfect, every room very well utilited. We stayed for a week with Georgios and his lovely wife. Loved this experience! Extremely kind people with such good hearts 💕 we felt like relatives, this was such a good experience. I already miss them and Olympiaki akti. Hope we go back again soon! ☀️ My only recommendation for the owners is to check the issue with the water in the shower as often it changes the temperature from hot to cold.
