We had booked as a family of 4 through Booking and unfortunately this was non refundable. On the day we arrived we were told that our kids cannot use the outdoor pool as it was being cleaned, on a Friday afternoon during a Bank Holiday weekend. We complained and only after a lot of complaining they allowed our kids to use the indoor small pool for 1 hour. |Unacceptable services and attitude from the Hotel Manager who told me that the outside pool is free and I’m not paying for it so I should not be complaining anyway. Gym was closed until 11 in the morning the next day, so also not accessible all day. Next day, Saturday morning the outside pool was closed again and they said it was open after 11 but they never removed the protective ropes and the pool bar was also closed.| Bottomline, this is a winter place that is not fully functioning in the summer months and they advertise for facilities/services they do not offer. They have a bad attitude and do not apologize. The place is very weathered, was not terribly clean and the village and surroundings feel abandoned. |Save yourself some time and money, go someplace else unless you are 85 with no expectations for any physical or...
Read moreI have visited the hotel in 09/2022. The style is old fashion, but the rooms are big and have a wooden flor and comfortable beds. It is a quiet place with a nice view over the lake. A big minus is the the breakfast. Instead of regional fresh products, some healthy food in a 5 Star spa hotel, the food is mostly bought of mass production. Why are there no fresh fruit salads or other salads? Why is there no home made marmalade and nearly nothing for vegan people? Ham and cheese have a low quality and the espresso has to be taken by yourself out of a bad working machine, which means, the coffee is not tasty. But for a bottle of sparkling water the payment is 5.20 € extra. This would be fine, if the breakfast would be great, but the quality of the food is bad. So, take 20,- € more fore the rooms and have a great breakfast. Another minus is, that the gym opens at 11:00, which means, that doing sports in the morning is difficult. But if you ask, they sometimes are so kind and open in the morning. All in all a nice hotel, but more 4-star-quality...
Read moreI'm going to say only the bad things because it have 5 stars I think something went wrong there and it is embarrassing for my country, good ones you can find them anywhere around here. It's no kids friendly or for a wheelchair as they say to many stairs up to the room. Neglected place, limited staff, broken, things everywhere. The room was with spiders and the bathroom full of mold. As for the heated indoor pool that they say it's in the price it was cold and spa didn't work, same for the jacuzzi and gym had broken machines full of dust. As for the staff some of them was nice and polite but in the spa the girls were rude. I hope the managers look up the bad comments and fix the situation before they close it. Shame and it's one of the new ones here. Maybe they targeted for European Union funding and now that they took the money dont...
