Mira Resort Lefkada — Hotel in Lefkada Municipality

Shopping on line for a vacation place to stay does require to read all the properties descriptions, the inclusions, the rules and conditions, reviews from other traveler, etc. and can result as daunting task. Sometimes, you may even be disappointed by the misleading reviews or phots.||Well, here is one place I was not disappointed. In fact, it actually exceeded my expectations. There were several reasons for this;||1- spectacular views from the pool side. See photos.||2- easy 10 minutes car ride to the city centre lefkada.||3- clean studios, properly working equipment such as. AC or blow dryers. The owners kept reminding us if we needed anything- just ask!||4- the free breakfast was amazingly tasty especially the Greek yogurt and honey, figs from trees on the property, and the ham & cheese omelette and Antonia’s beautiful morning smile!||5- Romina Thermou . She is an owner of the property and is extremely friendly with helpful advice and tips from places to eat, visit, beaches to avoid, etc. She is originally from Prague and speaks 4 languages- fluent English is one of them. Thank you Romina for one of the best warm and welcoming experiences. we usually don’t return to places we visited but this time we will have to make an exception!...

Great little place to stay. One word to describe this resort is peaceful. There are only 9 units, so not too crowded. My unit had both an upstairs and downstairs. The bed and small bathroom with a great shower were in the lower part, the small kitchenette, living room and patio were on the upper part. My unit had a safe, mini fridge, TV, table and chairs and couch. Great views of the sea. The pool was incredible. Free breakfast with great cooks. There is a laundry room onsite, but I did not use it. The tennis court does look like it needs to be cleaned. There is free parking. It is slightly remote so not within walking distance of Lefkada. The beach is 3 km from the place. This resort is within walking distance to a monastery. The manager Romina is a very kind person who was very helpful when I needed assistance. Great staff. We have just stayed at Mira resorts for 11 days. It was wonderfully restorative in these days of Covid. Such peace and quiet, comfortable, safe. The views are stunning and panoramic looking across to Preveza over the beautiful swimming pool. This is a proper pool too, big enough to really swim in, sparkling clean. We had delicious breakfasts served by the pool by exceptionally friendly staff. The staff were all so friendly and helpful , we were given excellent advice on places to go and things to do, and we felt cared for.
