We stayed for 3 nights in a ground-floor apartment. It was spotless and very spacious, and the hostess was very kind and hospitable. Homemade (and absolutely delicious) cookies and Raki were waiting for us in the fridge, and she even gave us a bottle of olive oil as a farewell gift. She truly went the extra mile, and we really appreciated it.
The village is very quiet and feels authentically local. You can hear the sea from your room, which is wonderfully soothing. Also, it is super quiet at night. Walks along the coast are amazing, and the two Meltemi caves are definitely worth visiting. We did an 11 km hike from the apartment to the coastal cave, then to the inland cave, and back – highly recommended!
However, we had to deduct one star for a few things:
The bed was not comfortable for me (though my partner did not mind). The kitchen is missing some essential amenities for proper cooking, which is a shame. The apartment gets quite a lot of light at night from the street lamps – not ideal if, like us, you prefer it pitch dark (a bit paradoxical in such a small, remote village with little light pollution). When we were leaving, our bags left for a few minutes on the terrace got splashed with water from the apartment above, where cleaning was going on. Unfortunately, some of our things got wet, which was upsetting. The local supermarket is very small and rather expensive. The “beach” is rocky with no easy access, so for us the sea could only really be enjoyed by looking, not swimming – a pity.
Finally, while we truly appreciated Anastacia’s warmth and hospitality, but we did feel uncomfortable being asked twice to leave a good review (and once even for “10 stars”). We believe reviews should be honest and not influenced, and we did not like...

The owner is so warm and genuine and wanted you to enjoy your stay with nothing too much trouble. If you want a relaxed, laid back break this is the place. We will...
