Polikseni House — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

This property is very comfortable, as warm as the people that take care of everything on it and at least as good-looking as it is well taken-care of. The location is quiet yet engaging, opening wide and dramatic perspectives over the village and the Sun at sunrise and the sunset under the sea. Its welcoming terraces offer all-day soft shade and warm comfort. Its June fairytale-coloured courtyard brings close to you the green hilly picturesque slopes filled with bold trees and lush shades of the island. Our kind hosts and neighbors have been of great help and assistance during our stay at Polikseni House. Even though we've met for the first time right on this occasion, the experience felt pleasantly familiar and comforting. And it's not only the fresh flowers on the kitchen table, the homemade Sunday pita (pie), the lemons and the kumquats picked up straight from the trees that made us feel this way. The property is quite-yet-not-to-close to some points of interest in the area where you will be rewarded with great food made in-house, fresh drinks, wonderful people that make you fee good, and quality beach time (Bronzer, Sunset Wine & Dine, Agios Gordios Beach). Polikseni House also proved to be a perfectly located home base for our many exploratory incursions into the farther reaching distances of the island. The very accessible parking spot on the property works great for a highly functional launch-landing pad. Corfu has so many routes to explore that you may get the feeling that you're actually on an infinite island. So now, a week after returning to our actual homes, we’re still not sure whether we returned home or we actually left our home. Io e mia moglie abbiamo soggiornato in questo appartamento, in cui ci siamo trovati benissimo. Appartamento pulitissimo, giardino e ampia terrazza esterna molto curati e ben tenuti. Posizione strategica per l'accesso a molte spiagge nei dintorni. Vladimiros e Margareta due persone ospitali e cordialissime. Ci siamo subito sentiti come a casa nostra...!
