Sunset Wine & Dine — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

A restaurant with a soul ! With excellent food, staff, atmosphere...everything was amazing. We came here twice during our stay in Corfu. We were always served by the owner and his wife who cooked for us. We exchanged a few words with the owner, because we did not understand why the restaurant was empty with such wonderful food, services, sunset and romantic atmosphere. He told us how 20 years ago he had a lot of staff because they cooked for more than 200 people a day and had fun until 2am. Today only he works in the restaurant as a waiter and his wife as a cook. When we were in the restaurant, we saw many people who just parked, looked at the view, read the menu and left... we were sad because this restaurant has the best food in all of Corfu. All food is homemade, wine and olive oil are also homemade. I have never eaten meat cooked so gently.I have never felt as comfortable in a restaurant as in Sunset Wine&Dine. If we return to Corfu, we will visit this restaurant more than once again. I don't know if the owner of the restaurant will read this review, but I would like to thank him and his wife once again for everything. Thank you...

GO HERE. Do not be one of the countless people that make the mistake of passing this place by. My husband and I saw so many people stop, read the menu, take a picture, and carry on their way. We wanted to scream every time “stop here!! The food and wine is fantastic!” We’re from the states, and I grew up LOVING Mediterranean food. This was the only restaurant that actually blew me away. We ordered baked feta, calamari, swordfish, and traditional Greek salad. The gentleman that served us was the owner, and his wife was cooking in the back. He was so friendly, and the cutest little Greek man. He gave us eggs from his chicken coop, and olives and wine on the house. All of this is homemade. We got wine and olive oil to go, and he pulled out clean bottles, and bottled and sealed it all right in front of us. Just go! You won’t be...

What can I say – I booked a villa in Kato Gariuna just to visit this taverna! Dining here feels like having dinner with family. The atmosphere is warm, genuine, and truly welcoming. The owner may be quiet, but somehow he knows exactly what you need before you even ask. It’s no surprise – he worked in famous Michelin-starred restaurants in the past, and you can truly taste that level of expertise in every dish. Every plate is prepared with care, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The homemade wine is absolutely fantastic – rich, smooth and tasty. It’s not just a dinner, it’s an experience of Greek hospitality and culinary mastery at its finest. I would come back again and again just for this place. A hidden gem that stole my heart!
