Korona Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of East Mani

I’ve had a terrible experience. Do not recommend it at all!

The room was so terrible and unsanitary that we had to leave in the middle of our first night there. We arrived to find first that the room had no balcony (contrary to how it was advertised). We went out for a walk and when we returned the room was full of all kinds of insects: worms, spiders (alive and dead), various flying insects. Though 24-hour reception was advertised, there was no one there. I called our host and he said there was nothing he could do, and refused to come see the unsanitary state of the room. Korona Boutique Hotel was the best choice we could have made for our stay.

The hotel is fully renovated, yet it maintains the traditional charm of the stone-built village. Located in a beautiful traditional stone village, it's just a short distance from the beach and Limeni.

The breakfast at the hotel was a delightful surprise, with everything tasting delicious and the ingredients appearing so fresh. I think we've found a destination where we can escape at any time, as it's only about a 3-hour drive from Athens.

The rooms are claustrophobic, but the main issue was that it had holes in the walls and rust on the toilet. When we informed the management that it was nothing like the pictures we saw online, they told us the they didn’t have time to finish the renovation as the building was new. However, as I client I paid the full price (160 € per night) for a service I did not get (an unfinished room with holes in the walls and rust in the bathroom), making my stay unpleasant. What is more, they did not even offer to accommodate us in any other way to make up for the poor conditions in the room....
