Our travel agent recommended this hotel to us and it turned out to be more than wonderful. It is located on a hill and has a beautiful view of the sea. The hotel complex is quite large, from the room to the dining room or the pool you have to walk quite a few steps, but it's not that bad. The hotel has a small pool, a hotel bar by the pool, where they also offer very good food for a very good price. in general, the food is also very tasty for breakfast and dinner, especially with dinner they put a lot of effort; I don't think I've ever had the same meal twice for dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful, everything can be arranged without a problem. Our agency advertised that the hotel has its own beach, but it only has a pier with a few sunbeds. A very nice beach is a 5-minute walk down the road on one side and a two-minute walk up the stairs on the other side of the hotel. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to Samos town and back by prior arrangement. There are quite a few cats hanging around the hotel, which doesn't bother me as a cat lover, but it might bother someone else. Although the island itself does not have many tourist attractions, it is still...
Read moreStayed at Kerveli Village for a week. Overall experience was very positive. The hotel seems a bit out-of-the-way - lots of hills, cliffs and winding roads. As such, it's not easy to walk anywhere, and there's not actually much in walking distance, especially considering the temperature and amount of sun. It's a quiet area, great for winding down and relaxing. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus that makes scheduled trips to Samos City, with a drop-off at a super market. Otherwise, you can buy water, beer, food and snacks at the pool bar, or two nearby taverns. Food is pretty good, and if you don't like what the hotel is serving, you can easily walk to one of the two taverns. Stayed in standard rooms, which were fine overall. View was great, beds a bit hard and the TV is tiny. Didn't really need the TV anyway. The hotel also offers snorkeling and scuba diving, but if you want to go anywhere but the hotel and Samos City, renting a car is really the only...
Read moreIf you are looking for silence, nature, delicious greek cuisine and amazing hospitality, friendliness this is the place for You. Away from the hustle and bustle, but with a bus to the island's capital. When arriving on Samos, it is worth at least two days renting a car to get around this not very touristy (real) island. Many of the vegetables and fruit come from the hotel's garden. The dishes are insanely delicious.
The only things that could be improved sometime in the future would be to install a cubicle instead of a curtain in the shower, include a fridge in the room price, offer softer pillows and strengthen the air conditioning. But these are just little things and tips to take into account for the future.
The hotel has a beautiful, well-maintained green area and, above all, a excellent Staff, because the People make the place special.
I even had a little lesson in learning Greek words.
We were very relaxed.
