Elafonisos Diamond Resort — Hotel in Municipality of Elafonisos

What a nightmare!!!! No window screens (in order to keep the insects out of the room) AND THE AIRCONDITION DID NOT WORK!|I told them as soon as we checked in. They did not believe me. I tried to get some sleep but the dozens of flies that were dancing in the heat !!! did not allow it!||I went again to the 85 year old lady Ms Nitsa , apparently the mother of the owner , and to the miserable receptionist (who kept repeating that he was just an employee!!!), and told them that they had to check the air conditioning!||After 4 hours , at 20:30 my wife , my two small daughters and myself, returned to the room and realized that the temperature inside the room was higher than outside!||We called the miserable employee who confirmed the malfunction but clarified that he could not find a technician at that time!||I informed that we would leave and after 5 minutes I went to the reception and asked him to suggest another hotel. Then the nightmare began : The old lady said to him : " Do not suggest anything ! They will do the same thing again they will mess up the room , and then they will claim that the air conditioning doesn't work"!!!||I said : "Claim? What do you mean claim? It does not work ! And then I asked the receptionist: Why don't you tell her that the air conditioning doesn't work? And the guy replied: I'm just an employee! And he concluded: Are you gonna pay me now or later ? |-Pay you for what? For a room with no air conditioning or any window screens ?I'm not paying anything, call the police!||Then , the antipathetic Nitsa started provoking me , by saying: |-oh that's nice ,that's very nice. You go to hotels , you take your shower and then you claim that the air conditioning doesn't work and you pay nothing.This way I can have free vacations as well!!!||The comments are yours ! But my advice is this : DON'T EVEN...

To begin with , the booling offering was exactly what we expected in terms of room situated on the first floor and in terms of view to the sea.||Things to be taken care of :||1) There is no wifi, it was noted to Hotel Mgt.|2) Paying 125e/night one would expect a very rich breakfast, including scrambled eggs/sausage/croissant.|3) They change towels every two days, staff though politely provided us towels once per day upon our request.|4) Seawater coming out of shower but this is an issue the island is facing in general.|5) Taken the price charged we would expect a double bed not two single beds|6) Taken the price charged we would expect a modern room decoration.||Aspects that made us happy about the resort:||1) Great sea view from 1st floor!|2) Room privacy with cozy sofas!|3) Staff was very polite and recommended us places to visit.|4) Car parking close to the rooms but at a distance as it should be.|5) Hotel location..hotel distance from panagia beach.|6) Above all....the offering description with what we faced in reality was not different.||We will surely recommend it to our social...

I've been there (unfortunately) just for one night during a Peloponnese tour with my three children. ||The staff was perfect: very kind and helpful, but never intrusive. The room was basic, but very big and comfortable, particularly the terrace with sea view and spectacular sunset scenario! ||The beach in front of the hotel is not the best one of the island, but is very beautiful. You will swim with sole fishes in a very clear water.||The breakfast was varied and generous, but I would have appreciated having fresh fruit and juices. The hotel is in front of the sea and near the beach, but not really attached to it. ||The island is fantastic, one of the best sea in Mediterranean. You must visit it at least once!||||Ho letto altre recensioni in italiano che trovo poco corrette in particolare riguardo la carta igienica: è un problema legato al sistema di depurazione e non specifico di questo hotel.
