Malindi — Hotel in Municipality of Ermionida

The only true advantage of Malindi rooms is it's location which is right in front of Ververouda beach and in close proximity to Porto Heli (2 minutes drive). Six of the rooms offer great view to the sea while the other three are semi - basement. The air-conditioner in the room worked perfect as well. In the negatives I count the size of rooms which is rather small, the cheap furniture, the lack of maintenance (no hot water in one of our rooms; the owner told me that it was the heater malfunctioning but she didn't do anything to correct the problem and the remote control of the tv set didn't work), the insufficiently equipped kitchen (only a small fridge and two hot plates, no kitchenware - you had to ask from the owner). Furthermore the hotel does not have reception desk. If you need anything you have to ask for it while the owner is roaming around in the premises, which is for few hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon. Faisant une halte à MALINDI BEACH RESTAURANT AND BAR, nous trouvons une belle petite plage aménagée. Nous n'étions que de passage, nous n'avons pas testé l'hôtel qui avait l'air sympathique.|Nous décidons de nous arrêter pour manger un petit bout et là... |Il y avait quelques tables déjà servis au " restaurant de plage " : Nous avons attendu 30 minutes et personne n'est venu nous voir, c'est nous qui avons du s'installer sur les tables prêt du bar avec un personnel très peu aimables. |Nous avons dû attendre encore 10 minutes avant que quelqu'un daigne venir nous demander si l'on voulait quelque chose ! On avait clairement l'impression que nous n'étions pas la bienvenue. Je vous épargne le temps d'attente des plats.....|Elle a daigné prendre la commande : J'ai pris un " Bouillon filet chicken " à 7€ et ma compagne un " Souflaki pork " (car il n'y avait plus tellement de choix, ce qui est tout à fait compréhensible vu que nous y sommes allés vers 15h) : JUSTE IMMANGEABLE ! Nous avons été tout les deux malades juste après : Je n'ai même pas manger la moitié et pourtant je suis malade !!!!! |Nous avons payé 14,50 €, avec deux cocas, servis dans des verres sales ! Unforgettable moments for us with friends in exotic mallindi in July. ||By the sea with fantastic colors of sky and sea in the afternoons, we forgot the reality.||Beautiful clean rooms and people around us, to help us, where we wanted.||From mallindi rooms we had the opportunity to visit the nearby beautiful islands Spetses - Hydra and Poro and the days of our vacation ended too quickly. There are many beautiful places to see in the area.||Our friends were very pleased with our choice and from now make plans for their next trip to mallindi for the winter to visit Mycenae, Ancient Epidavros...
