Elena's beach garden — Hotel in Municipality of Ierapetra

This is a little gem on the South coast of Crete. Extremely clean, fresh towels and cleaning service every other day from lovely friendly people. The apartments have everything needed during your stay, coffee filter maschine, iron, cutlery, saucepans, kitchen towels, washing line, 2 ring cooker etc. The beach is just 100 steps away and very private. Elena made us very welcome and gave us the feeling that we could have asked her for information or tips any time. Arta fixed our rooms and was very discrete which made us feel so comfortable. The supermarket down the road is an experience and a joy to Shop at and last but not least 'Taverna Katerina' about 500m away serve original cretan meals which we missen dearly when back home. Our family of four had really lovely stay at Elena’s beach garden. The apartment was very comfortable, we had a main room and a dining room with a kitchen and three terraces. The apartment was cleaned every day and the bed linen was changed every two or three days. The apartment is only 5 minutes away from a perfect beach which is semi-private, i.e. only used by guests from nearby accommodations. It was never crowded and you can also find natural overhangs. There are stairs that you have to use to get to the beach, and you pass through a tavern. The view from the tavern is perfect. The tavern is right next to the apartment and the food is good. It is not noisy and we could have a nice rest. I would recommend this...

I have visited Elena's beach gardern last summer. My visit was as pleasant as it could be. The hospitality was exceptional but the one thing that really stood out was how clean everything was. Following all the possible ways to avoid the spread of diseases Elena had made the rooms really clean. Felt safe every step of the way and everything was neat and smelled clean.
