Our experiences were awful. We have been lied to by a woman named Disponsa. Apparently the Villas were all „brand-new“ and unfinished. It turned out the villas are indeed unfinished, but well used. Lots of things are broken, there is mould in the main bathroom, the TV has no usable channels, there are no games, Andy no entertainment at all. The pool was freezing, the screens doors were ripped, the main door is damaged and cannot remain closed unless it’s locked, and there are loose electric cables hanging out all over the place. The place is totally unsuitable for children. The outside area is unfinished and there is construction material everywhere. The hot water was not working, we got really sick showering with cold water every day (off season). At some stage we had no water in the entire house at all! The place was dirty even after being cleaned. The kitchen was old and worn out and was as good as empty. There was only a minimum of kitchen supplies. The door of the dishwasher was stuck and did not open. The sheets had lots of black hair all over (we are a blonde family). The design of the villa is super unfortunate. Our bedroom was upstairs and had no door so we could not dimm the lights in the room. Our daughter was sleeping downstairs, but we had no privacy upstairs at all. The upstairs bathroom was so small that you had to be careful where you put your legs when on the toilet, in order to not hurt yourself. When we did our wash the whole outside area was full of it because there was no drier and no place to hang laundry. The tiny rack was just enough to hang our socks. That was it with the nice view. Things kept breaking, there was no comfort, and even the Internet did not work. Everything looked lovely from the outside but inside everything was rotten. We had trouble the whole 10 days we were there. The only things the host had to say were explanations and excuses. They pretended innocently all that was normal and we had to take it. We kept being reminded that the house is „brand-new.“ We will post some pictures so you can see for yourselves what it looked like. The only true and good thing about this trip was the nature outside. That was exactly how it looked like. So if we would’ve been into camping and we went camping in that area it would’ve been great. But for the high price we paid it was an absolute flop, to be called by name a disaster considering the fact that everything was falling apart and there was no comfort at all. But you have to go there and see it for yourselves. We’ve been tricked, we spent precious holiday time to wait for people to try fixing things and being promised that everything will be alright, we’ve heard a lot of explanations for why thinks are not working as they should. The manager just loves to talk and talk and waste our time. We got a quarter of a litre self-made olive oil? As a going away present that was somehow supposed to make up for everything 🙄. We had the worst experiences and would not recommend this place ever. This family literally ruined the 18th birthday trip of our daughter 😥. It was so bad, the three of us got sick and ended up leaving early and moving to a...
Read moreThalassa Villa is the best possible holiday solution for two family's who want to spend fun time together but also need some privacy. We spent 8 nights there and had the time of our life. The pool was perfect and the small secret beach just a few steps away was simply majestic. Despoina was the perfect host and we are still enjoying the home made olive oil she gave us as farewell gift. Thank you so much!...
