Pserimos is a beautiful quiet getaway from the nearby busy islands of Kos and Kalymnos. We stayed for 4 nights. We found the villas to be of a good standard and spacious however the villa we stayed in could do with some maintenance especially in the bathroom . The kitchen was basic but enough to prepare a simple breakfast or lunch. Don’t leave any food out even if covered there are ants everywhere even in the villas.|The pool area is lovely, a good place to escape to when the island is inundated with day trippers from 10-4pm everyday. |The daily cleaner was very good and thorough.|We had no checkin the lady just gave us the keys a disappeared saying she would come back later but didn’t we didn’t see her again until the following day. |The pool service unfortunately was a let down.|The pool bartender wasn’t interested in serving us she preferred to be on her phone or chatting with other workers who tended to congregate around the pool bar.|We had to get up and order drinks, there was no polite chat not even a smile.|The pool had heaps of kids playing in it which were not guests of the hotel but appeared to be the workers kids, I understand the kids want to play but we are playing guests and were made to feel like intruders.| After a while this became annoying and was probably the reason why other guests didn’t come to the pool.|There is huge potential here perhaps with better...
Read moreI would have given a 4 but there is a lack of sttention here. Many things that each is small but altogether it becomes bigger.|Cleanliness of the room is not the best and I had to clean the wardrobe before I could put my clothes there.|There are small ants everywhere in the room, even in the bed.|Linen and towels are changed twice a week. Had to ask for a pool towel though I would’ve expected that to be given to everyone.|Equipment in kitchen is not impressive. ||Pool area is really nice and the pool is quite big. There are lots of sunbeds around the pool but the problem is it’s never quiet. There is a bunch of kids that I think are local, at least they speak Greek. They are playing and shouting all day every day. Relaxing and for example reading a book is not possible.||I have been here almost a week now and I haven’t seen any adults in the staff around except for the gardener. The woman who picked us up at the boat have been invisible all week and she seemed to be some sort of manager. The pool bar is attended by young girls no more than 16 probably and they don’t really know what they’re doing. ||Pserimos is a very relaxing place. I like it here very much but this hotel is simply not worth the money. In the same time there is no other hotel I would rather be in because this is the only one with...
Read moreWe were in Pserimos Villas the third week of September last year. If you like peace and quiet Pserimos Island is a great location. That was the reason that we booked there. The apartment that we had was spacious but do not expect luxury. The bathroom was basic and the bedside lamps were missing in the bedroom so reading in bed was not possible. The view that we had was on the wall of the cottage that was 5 meters in front of our cottage. Unfortunately, the staff was not really motivated anymore at the end of the season (the cleaning lady was an exception, every day the apartment was fresh and clean!) After a windy day, a number of parasols were blown over. These have been lying on the ground for a few days (partly broken) without anyone cleaning them up. Ashtrays at the swimming pool also remained for days without being emptied. Various things were no longer available in the pool bar. The poolbartender found his handy and his family more important than creating a welcoming atmosphere around the pool. We must have had bad luck,.... a place where we will not return. Although the stay at Pserimos Villas was not great, we had a wonderful week on Pserimos. No stress, a beautiful beach and of course restaurant Sevasti Pikou (the best place for...
