Nimbus guesthouse — Hotel in Municipality of Kastoria

The guesthouse is a short distance from Kastoria which is blessed with it’s beautiful lake. We wanted somewhere quiet but with a view. We where met by Christo a very friendly and helpful host. Our bedroom was traditionally furnished and when we stepped out on the veranda the view looking over the lake and the mountain’s was amazing. We stayed for tonight’s and our continental breakfast was plentiful to set us up for the day. The only thing I think was missing in the room was a kettle in order to make hot drinks if needed. However we used the local village restaurant where the food was basic but susbstantial and suited our needs. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a little bit of tradition and views...

This is the second best hotel I've ever stayed in rural Greece. First one was in Stavropouli.||||While not very easy to reach, Nimbus hotel and Sidirohori village with lake view will take your breath. It has a beautiful achitecture. Nice rooms with new and fine furniture. Landlady, Kalli is kind and very helpful. Breakfast was over average. This is a very good choice for your stay. It is located close to Kastoria town and the road is pretty good. It will take you around 15-20 minutes to drive to Kastoria. This village overlooks Kastoria lake and also has a nice view of Vitsi. This guesthouse is a family-run guesthouse and the owners are very helpful and kind.
