Ok, at first glance we were impressed with the place, it looked ok, grand gate with a villa at top of a hill with cool lights everywhere. The hotel is clearly newish but once you scratch under the surface it's a disaster. To run a few things off the headboard for the bed was ruined, I've never seen such a sight in any hotel in over 30 countries. Then we found a stain on the sheets, then another white crusty stain on the duvet. See photos. We can not understand why the duvet was not even protected with a sealed duvet cover, just a sheet under it. Disgusting. The night porter lady came begrudgingly to change the sheets after we complained. The way she conducted herself and spoke showed she clearly had no hotel experience or professional training. We slept ok but the curtains hardly fit the windows so I was woken by bright light. The shower floor was dirty with what looked like rodent faeces then we noticed how dirty the bathroom floor towel was. Having booked for 2 nights at 90 euros so a so called premium room we left after 1 night. It's a shame. You can see the owners spent a lot of money but luck any experience and seem to be full of apathy to do nothing correctly. We took one look at breakfast or lack of and decided to avoid. Why advertise breakfast when it's not up to standard. Many things are clearly lacking in managements experience. Last time we try a cheap hotel in Greece. We had a similar experience nearby in nea makri as well at several other hotels, it's a bad area for service...
Read moreChecked in here in the evening to stay for a week. Arrived around 21:00h to check in to find the receptionist totally drunk and stoned. In addition, he was bleeding, because he just had a fight with his colleague who was also stupidly drunk. Took him 15 minutes to check me in. Then gave me a roomkey with no key on it. Took another ten minutes to find the right key. Got into my room finding no blankets for the bed. Had to go back to the reception again to ask for blankets, something I really wanted to avoid.||||The room itself had a buzzing electric current which was annoying. I could switch off the power, but then a bright green emergency light in the room would light up. It was choosing to sleep either with a buzzing noise or with a bright green light in the room. ||||At around midnight the drunk receptionist went around knocking on doors asking people if he could help people. ||||Had to leave early in the morning at 7:00h, but there was no breakfast (there should have been). Probably because the drunk staff were still sleeping off their drugs and alcohol.||We did not feel safe and decided to allocate to another hotel.||||For a four-star hotel, this was the most underwhelming experience I had ever had. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and it can be improved because the location and surroundings of the hotel are...
Read moreI’ll start with a negative so I can end on the positive. The room was not very clean, especially the shower (see the photo), and the room they originally put us in was not ready or cleaned. They also told us when we had been away for the whole day that they did not have time to clean our rooms, even though there were only about six guests! Having read other reviews it seems that it is common for local people to come in and use the hotel as a disco. While I usually would take it as a positive sign that locals are coming to the hotel, it feels a bit weird being a guest there when it clearly functions as more than a hotel! The breakfast was average at best, but the cheese toastie was pretty good. The staff were helpful but also quite weird. There was also a weird buzzing noise in our room which could only be switched off by turning off all the electricity, from reading all the reviews it seems this is often the case.||Now the positives: The pool is pretty good and surprisingly deep. Unnecessarily deep maybe? The room had most of the facilities that we needed, although an iron and some shower gel might have been useful. ||Overall impression: not quite what it might seem from the photos and a bit of a weird hotel stuck out in the middle of nowhere. Probably would give it a miss unless you’re really into deep...
