Maistrali — Hotel in Municipality of Milos

This hotel gave me mixed emotions. It is situated above Provatas beach and has an excellent view. The staff running the hotel are very polite and kind and trying their best. One more plus is the idea to bring the breakfast from the previous afternoon (the rooms have refrigerators) so you can have it whanever you want next morning.It is also very clean. But unfortunately the problems are more than the pros. The bathroom is very small it doesnt even have a bath (there is a shower with no seperate position and so the water end up in the bathroom floor) and if you bath then you cannot enter the bathroom because everything is wet. There is no TV in the room, there is no cell phone reception (this is not hotel's fault of course) and the WIFI signal is really bad (you can connect easily but you dont have internet connection). The hotel is situated in a remote location so you need a car (20 mins drive to the center) and there is not market near by to purchase anything. There is a beach with sunbeds nearby relatively small. The hotel also has no restaurant or cafe or something to sit and and enjoy the view even though it has the room to organize one. The good thing is that the cost is low. Overall this is a decent place to stay for a couple of days but it needs more attentions...

Struttura e stanze datate ed arrangiate alla bene meglio, per non dire trascurate (vd. foto all.te) in zona isolata senza alcun servizio, solo due taverne che, provata la prima, ci siamo ben guardati nel provare la seconda.|Camera sprovvista di tv, non perché serva, ma perché, per il prezzo pagato, fuori linea rispetto ai servizi dovuti e alla media del posto.|Colazione accettabile, ma servita alla sera per periodo covid (...siamo stati in Grecia tre volte lo scorso anno, due questo, e ora arrivavamo da altra isola; è vero che non può più essere a buffet, ma ovunque è servita al mattino...evidentemente vogliono evitarsi l'alzata presto). Il primo giorno, essendo in ritardo x orario affitto scooter, ne avevamo conservato una parte in frigo per  terminarla poi, riconsegnando piatti e  vassoio, ma al ritorno, avevano prelevato tutto dal frigo. La sera, alla nostra richiesta di lasciare nel frigo ciò che ci mettevamo, ci hanno detto di sì, ma il secondo giorno è sparito tutto di nuovo. Il terzo giorno al mattino improvvisamente, a metà doccia, sono mancate luce ed acqua; abbiamo dovuto chiedere noi la sera cosa fosse accaduto e ci è stato detto che era stata coinvolta tutta la  zona, che può anche starci, ma almeno preoccuparsi di avvisare.|Il balcone, dove era previsto fare la colazione, era talmente piccolo che da seduti le ginocchia toccavano il muro.|Nella scheda info in camera era specificato il cambio asciugamani e lenzuola ogni due giorni (vd foto all.ta); noi ci siamo fermati tre notti e ciò non è avvenuto, anzi è sparito pure un terzo cambio asciugamani che avevamo conservato pulito. Pulizia in generale carente.|Per fortuna avevamo prenotato solo le prime tre notti delle dieci che ci servivano, trovando poi molto di meglio, quasi a metà prezzo in zona di mare e...

This place is spectacular in every aspects. Rooms is really big and you have the terrace with an Island sea view. There is no noise just clean air. The lady at reception named Fari is really very good host. She helped us a lot, answered our questions immediately.
