———————————— It's difficult for me to write such a negative review, but this time I can't help it. The place is beautiful, nothing to say, but the staff is really irritating and arrogant, as well as dishonest. We ordered a Greek salad and a Saganaki. When the Greek salad finally arrived (a very scarse portion) I asked if I could have some olive oil, salt and pepper. I was stunned when the waiter rudely told me that there was already enough oil in the salad and if I wanted more I had to pay extra. Simply absurd, it's the first time it's happened to me, in the land of olive oil it's really out of place. In the end he just brought me some salt.
We ordered a double espresso. After 15 minutes of waiting we reminded the waiter what we had ordered. He apologized to us with a smirk and brought us a watered-down Greek coffee. This is fine too, but when it came to the bill they didn't let me pay by credit card, saying that the machine wasn't working today. I asked for the bill details because they had only told me the total orally. I also had to ask for the tax receipt because they hadn't issued it.
I had confirmation of the arrogance and lack of professionalism when at the next table, occupied by 10 Spanish girls, the waiter confiscated a half-full bottle of water from them which they had placed on their table saying: "this is not allowed". And he disdainfully threw it into the garbage.
This restaurant deserves owners and staff suited to the location.
They are truly unprofessional, arrogant, falsely kind, sneaky and sadly...
Read moreTouring around the island. Came across the beach and we were all hungry for a snack. Climbed the stairs and appeared this beautiful restaurant. We were greeted by a kind man named George. This place showed wonderful hospitality. Gave great recommendations for food. The food was dreamy delicious. We had roasted shrimp and they were giant. They could’ve called them tiger prawns. Another dish was baked spaghetti and Saganaki shrimps. Everything was amazing. To top it off we had the some sort of traditional dish that I forgot what the name was but was for newlyweds since part of our party were newly engaged. The dessert was a smooth and creamy Greek yogurt with apricots, walnuts and honey. Another place I wish I had close to my home. Come and support this lovely place and say...
Read moreWhen I'm having lunch, If you're only going to get one thing right...please make it the €34 fish. Yes, they cooked it right. This is the usual high price for fresh fish on milos, but the others will scrounge up some decent veg to go with it. Here, in the isolation of this beach, it's extra. As you can see the greens, whilst perfectly cooked, drowned in a pool of their own instrument of demise. Draining (double entendre). The pie was edible but as orange as trump, sadly pre make up (sorry for that image). The service was a real positive. The waiter had a busy rush, and handled it with all the skills of an octopus. His mantra "Bon appetite" may have been a thousand kilometres off course, but hey, it's easy to get...
