Pasithea Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Monemvasia

We stayed at the Pasithea suits 4 night with 2 children (5.5 and 14). I cannot begin to describe what a wonderful heartwarming stay it was. It began with a friendly booking process, and speaking to Vagelis over the phone was a cheerful taste of the upcoming vacation in Greece! The welcoming upon our arrival and also the farewell were SO warm and personal. This is a bran new family hotel, super clean, 3 minutes drive from Monemvasia where there was everything we needed as a family. The pool in the hotel was a bonus with the girls! We received excellent recommendations regarding places to eat and where to visit, opening hours and what roads to drive, all tailored to our personal needs. Great beds, great (!) shower with hot water running all day long, and small useful kitchen with a fridge. I recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for both the conveniency of a hotel and the feeling of local hospitality. One last thing - when searching for a place to stay we hoped to find a place in the old town, but after struggling to do so we "took a risk" and booked outside Monemvasia. This turned out to be a good choice since there is no access by car to the old town. Also, it gets crowded during the day and there is a lot of climbing to do in the old city. So Pasithea suits...

We (family with 2 adults & 2 teenagers) stayed two nights at Pasithea Suites, and it was wonderful - we would have been happy to stay longer! The rooms are beautiful, clean, and well-designed. The setting is fantastic – quiet and peaceful, right by the sea, with stunning views. The swimming pool is perfect for a relaxing dip, and it's just a short walk to a bakery and a lovely restaurant.

What really sets Pasithea Suites apart is the extraordinary service from the lovely people who run the hotel. They are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They provided fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and gave us great tips for visiting the castle and the local area.

The hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the castle, and there is plenty of parking on the bridge so it was very easy to visit Monemvasia. I’m so glad we chose to stay here instead of inside the castle walls – it’s much more peaceful, and easier with luggage.

I recommend Pasithea Suites if you want to visit the Monemvasia castle, and would also recommend staying long enough to explore...
