Blue Waves — Hotel in Municipality of Mytilene

We had an excellent stay at the Blue Waves Resort. We adored host Maria Laskari who took care of us throughout our four night stay. She is lovely, friendly and so very attentive. We were lucky to stay in one of the gorgeous villas. It was three levels - basement, main floor and top floor, all with large terraces. It was so spacious and clean, offering lovely views of the sea. The pool is large and great for swimming or just relaxing for the day. The Pool Bar menu is limited but has good offerings for breakfast and lunch. Blue Waves is a great hotel for peace and quiet. It has only 10 rooms and is not crowded at any time. The pool is big and clean with a pool bar close for snacks and drinks. Since the room has a kitchen, it is easy to have breakfast and lunch on your balcony overlooking the pool and the sea. The staff is friendly and helpful, and cleaning of your room every day. Super gepflegte Anlage und auch der Pool ist sehr sauber. Direkt am Meer gelegen, dort kann man entweder mit Badeschuhen (Steinstrand) baden, oder man geht den kurzen Schleichweg zu Fuß zum Agios Isidoros ( ca.250m Sand-Kiesstrand).Die Zimmer sind gut und zweckmäßig eingerichtet und der Balkon sehr groß mit phantastischer Aussicht. Die Betten waren frisch bezogen und auch die Handtücher waren neu. Allerdings hat man wahrscheinlich vergessen unser Zimmer zu reinigen. Im Zahnputzbecher und auch im Kühlschrank waren noch Spuren von unserem Vormieter sichtbar. Vor dem Schrank lagen Barthaare und in der Küche sowie auf dem Balkon gab es reichlich Kekskrümel. Auch am Fön klebten noch viele Haare. Was uns leider noch zusätzlich sehr geärgert hat, war die Dame, die die Vormittagsschicht an der Bar/Rezeption hatte. Mittags angekommen wollten wir 2 Baileys mit Eis. Wir wunderten uns schon sehr über die vollen Gläser, dachten aber, dass es am Eis liegen würde. Beim Bezahlen entschuldigte sich die Damen und sagte, dass es ihr Fehler sei und sie uns leider die doppelte Menge eingegossen hätte. Wir mussten den doppelten Preis zahlen!!! Am nächsten Morgen bestellten wir zum Frühstück 2 Omeletts mit Käse, darauf mussten wir eine knappe Stunde warten, nachdem wir dann ca. die Hälfte gegessen hatten, brachte sie uns eine Schale mit kleingeschnittenem Gouda, mit der Bemerkung, dass sie den Käse vergessen hätte. Das waren einfach zu viel Dinge, die (für mich)nicht in Ordnung sind, deshalb leider nur 2...
