Elies Residences — Hotel in Municipality of Mytilene

Elies is a truly magical, relaxing place to stay. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay a perfect one. You feel like you relax from the minute you arrive, the villas, we had Sigri, are stunning, beautifully furnished, with everything you could possibly want. There is a fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook, a luxury bathroom with double shower, sofa, TV, fire, our villa had a very private patio area at the front where we sat each morning to eat our breakfast, which is delivered to you and you choose the night before, absolutely gorgeous selection. Tranquil music is played until the evening making you totally unwind whilst you sunbathe on the ample sun deck or swim in the huge infinity pool. The surrounding gardens are beautifully kept and are all lit up at night. We went out to eat several times but particularly enjoyed a meal at Bracceria which is just down the road about 5 mins drive toward the airport, right on the beach and lovely food. We cannot give Elies enough stars, we had had to rearrange our stay several times, as we were there for a wedding which had been postponed twice, but they were so accomodating, we truly thank them for making our stay so...

Attention to detail in this accommodation is stunning. We have travelled to many Greek islands and stayed at many different accommodations. We are used to most Greek accommodations -within a reasonable price range for family holidays- not having high level finishing standards (think: sanitary facilities, bedding, kitchen, overall clean, pool, garden, air conditioning, Wifi, lighting etc.). Elies was a big pleasant surprise to us. They show that it is possible to enjoy a high standard finished accommodation within a reasonable price range (hope they will try to keep it within this price range). Another example of their attention to detail, was the included breakfast. This was a big surprise to us as we did not expect this. The chef and manager Johannes did their best everyday to provide us with a wonderful breakfast experience at the pool terrace. Also, a special mention for all personnel. Owner Jannis managed to assemble a great team of wonderful people (Christina, Sophia, Johannes, the chef and the two cleaning ladies) that go far to make sure your stay is pleasant. Wow, this place really exceeded all expectations. After taking a ferry ride from Ayvalik, we were just looking for a getaway close to nature. The beauty of the hotel, the beautiful design of the rooms and the hotel, the pool area, the private balcony for each room, the cleanliness, made us feel the warmth and genuine beauty of the island. It was so great to stay that we had a hard time leaving our hotel to explore the island.

Most importantly, Ioannis at guest relations, was amazing. He was genuine, caring and never skipped any of our Whatsapp messages, despite the time or the amount of them we sent for such a short stay! After realizing we had forgot to send our breakfast selection, we sent a message of a picture of the breakfast sheet filled out late at night and woke up to the breakfast the next morning.
