Black Velvet Apartment Naxos — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

My husband and I travel quite a bit, and this was by far the best host we’ve ever had. The attention to detail and the thoughtful design of the place made our stay so comfortable. Everything we could possibly need was provided—beach umbrella, towels, even medicines and band-aids for emergencies, plus coffee, cream, and sugar. The apartment was spotless and beautifully arranged, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything you might need.

We were also traveling with our baby, and Emmanouella thoughtfully provided a wonderful crib and high chair, which made a huge difference for us.

Emmanouella was incredibly hospitable. She met us at the Airbnb for a quick check-in, showed us around, and even surprised us with a homemade cheese pie that was absolutely delicious. She also stocked the fridge with plenty of water and drinks, and went above and beyond by leaving balloons and wine to celebrate our anniversary. Her responsiveness was amazing—she replied to every request within minutes. If having a kind, attentive, and responsive host matters to you, this is the place to stay.

The property itself was perfect—three balconies, gorgeous views, and a hot tub to enjoy. It’s just a 7-minute drive to the port and Naxos town, and there’s a free parking spot if you rent a car. She even offered to pick us up from the airport or port if we needed it!
