Haroula Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Decent place! Rooms are basic with basic facilities, doesn’t have laundry facilities if that’s what you need....showers are pretty good when the hot water eventually comes through.... Maki the guy who deals with the guests is a decent enough guy who goes out his way to help you with what you need, Didn’t get to sample his mums cooking though as the bar and restaurant were closed due to refurbishment!! ||The pool is also basic but we had the best time in there and the water wasn’t too cold either.. The pool area looked as though it had been looking after and well maintained 👌This is a property where you definitely need a car though as it is kinda out the way and you would end up spending a fortune on taxis!!||On the terraces at the front there are sparrow nests up in the top and at first we found it rather unpleasant having these birds flying in and out all the time, but near the end of the stay we actually enjoyed watching the mother hunting for her young and coming back and forth all day :) it was an actual pleasure to see and we enjoyed watching this whenever we sat on our terrace at night or through the day :) ||Great for having BBQ’s we had 2 all at the hands of another family which we met while we were there, good to meet other people also as all the apartments look onto the pool!! Loved spending time with another family as the kids made friends and had a great time.....Norris was a dab hand at the old cooking he was a chef and knew how to rustle up some good nosh!! ||Had such a blessed time and made some friends who I hope to see again another time.. if your reading this guys thanks again for a great time!! We had a hick up at the airport when we arrived with our car we booked and had to take a taxi, so the next day Makis Mum gave us a lift into Sidari so we could rent a car :) we managed to get a car for €160 for 6 days which I thought was actually not too bad considering we only put in €25 the time we had it, the car was fine just a small car a Nissan Micra which did what we wanted it to ;)||Overall a great Holiday!! We have just returned from a week spent here, two adults and two children aged 5 and 7.||When I was looking to book this there was something that kept drawing me back to it and I was not disappointed. A fantastic find. ||We had a split level mezzanine room. The room was spacious for us and the bathroom was the nicest one I've ever encountered in the 18 years I've been visiting Greece. There was no drainage issues, no wet floor or back up from the drain! ||Very clean apartment and the kitchen was suitable for our needs. ||The pools are spotless and very well maintained. There was never a fight for sun beds! ||A family run place with Makis being the 'face' of the business. He is so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. He is around from early morning to late night, always with a smile! ||We ate there a couple of nights and the food is cooked by his mother. ||It is a little further out of sidari which for us was a blessing. So quiet and peaceful we sat out at night looking at the stars. ||We had a car for the week so had no issues getting around. 45 minute drive from the airport. Enough parking on site. ||The kids adored it, it gave them freedom to play and explore a little (never far from someone being able to see them!) that they don't get living in Sheffield! They got good at catching the insects but not so good with the geckos! ||All in all a fantastic...

Calm and peace. It is a wonderful place to stay for the price you pay. The best thing about this place is the manager :) He was super helpful and very friendly which is why we are definitely choosing this accommodation when visiting Corfu again. We came to stay for three days but his kindness and friendliness made us stay six days :) Now about the accommodation itself. It’s spacious, it has kitchenette with all the basic necessities and if you are missing anything just ask the host, he’ll be glad to help! The shower is a bit small, be ready for that, but we didn’t mind at all. It has a swimming pool, a nice garden and a bar (which didn’t work because we visited in the end of September). The nearest beach is almost 1,5km away, there are three supermarkets near (1km away), very well equipped, so it is probably good to rent a scooter or a car. We like visiting different places, so we didn’t mind that the beach is a bit further. Depends on what you like :) All in all, we were extremely satisfied with our stay there, definitely will go back and a warm recommendation for Haroula apartments and...
