I still have a feeling sadness of this experience. And believe me, I've traveled and I've seen places. Nobody communicates with you through booking system. I had a question regarding arrival time, nobody never answered me. It started when we arrived at checking time 15:00, and nobody expected us, the room wasn't ready at all, they didn't know somebody's booked the place for 2 weeks, the weirdest checking I ever had. It was a hot day, yet we had to wait outside for almost 40 minutes. Even water or any drink wasn't offered for apology. When the room was finally ready, it didn't look or smell clean at all. There was a woman's long black hair everywhere, on the floor, on bedsheets, in the shower. The room was super small with old furniture, and it looked like an old, dirty ex. children's camp abandoned for some reason and "mannualy renovated" that I could do better to be rent for the last minute tourists, and made of cheap so-called design. Water in the toilet didn't wash off and didn't collect in a proped manner, so that you have to do it manually with some bucket. We heard our neighbors. The beds were tough, and the pillows were cheap and not comfortable. There was internet promised in all premises including room. The owner hides the password so that you can't have internet in your room (I found out and claimed the password because I need to work in the evenings, whereas it gets too hot outside to work, for me internet must be in the room), so you must come to the bar and order something to drink or to eat, spend your money to use free internet, so greedy. Free internet at the bar is not stable. Overall, the internet isn't good there, not enough power or just such quality in there, don't know. The shower was old, and it literally fell down, and we asked to fix it. They represent themselves as a family hotel, but they do not clean, do not change bedsheets and towels, and do not take out rubbish. We had to ask them to do so, but we still had to take rubbish out. The location of this place is too far from the beach. You do not want to walk to the beach in 35-40 degrees Celsius. So, without a rental car, you're like in preason there. There was no choice but to rent a car to get away on a daily basis. I don't recommend choosing the Sidari location at all. It's far away from all the beauty of the Corfu, the nearest beach is in 2 km, and the beach looks like a smashed shallow lake. Sidari smells every evening like a rubbish hip literally. It stinks so badly that you don't want to keep your room open. But the cherry on the cake is infrastructure in Sidari. The awful roads around the northern Corfu are like nightmare for the driver. What happened in the end. 2 days we had thunder. A little bit of rain caused power shut. Can you imagine, you don't have electricity, you don't have internet, the water was gone too. 21st century outside, and your tourist is sitting with the candles without water and electricity. Our food died in the fridge, of course. When we asked them to call somebody to get electricity back, the owner called, yes. But he also lied to us saying that electricity is gone in the whole Northern part of the Corfu, which wasn't true, because we went to Sidari centre, then we went to Arillas the same day, and they had no problems with electricity at all. So, this is not a global problem. It's the problem of the particular Michael's garden place and probably micro-district around, not sure, though. Anyway, I'm furious, I'm mad. They charged us over 1000 EUR for 2 weeks to get THESE all, over 70 EUR per day. In some other countries, you can have all-inclusive with this price, perhaps, not in the high season. But people should know what happened there to us. Omg, if I only knew how bad it would be, I would never...
