Majestic Villa-Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Platanias

The Fantastic, Majestic Villa. We are on the last day of our 14 night stay, and what a beautiful setting. The villa is set on two floors which worked perfectly for our 2 families. Myself, wife and son stayed on the 1st floor, which had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large seating area, which contains a dining area and kitchen. My brothers family stayed on the 2nd floor which was the same layout, but had a 3rd bedroom. Huge back garden with seating area, sun lounge area, picnic/barbecue area, and of course, the swimming pool. We spent most of the day at the villa, and eating out on an evening. A car is a must as you are out in the awesome countryside/hillside. We drove to the 3 main places to eat out on an evening, which were... Kolymvari (5 mins in a car) Platanias (15 mins in a car) Chania old town (25 mins in a car) All 3 places were amazing and so many choices of restaurants and bars in Platanias and Chania. Anastasia the villa contact was outstanding, from the moment we booked, 6 months prior, to waiting up at 2am when we finally arrived, with food and drinks. Anastasia kept in constant contact throughout our 2 weeks stay, helping with questions we had on what to do. Highlights were obviously the villa, Sunset in Chania old town, and quad for a day to visit Balso beach and surrounding areas.... 💯% Book this villa as it has everything.... My family and some friends spent one week in villa Majestic. The house is located in a strategic part of the island: easy to reach from Chania airport and not too far from many of the most famous beaches of Crete. The villa is perfect for big group of people. Each apartments is new and nicely designed, with big balcony and a superb view of the coast line and the sea. The Villa has also a nice outside area with table, barbecue and hammock (at 1 a.m. the light in this area turn off and you cannot switch them on). There is also a pool but we didn’t use it a lot because the water is very shallow (90 cm in the deepest point). Please note that the mother of the owner lives in the ground floor of the building, but she as her private entrance and you are not going to see her at all. It’s not a problem, but we didn’t know it. During our stay we experienced some minor problems, but the property manager was always very fast to deal with them. They also sent me back for free a small device I forgot in the house.
