Small, close to beach, nice and clean beach therefore it would be unfair not to give it 5 stars.|BUT|it's full of Austrians and Germans (they pointed out to me that they have been coming here for 30 years!!!! Poor them...) and this sadly meant lots of structure, rules and BIG PROBLEMS if you don't abide by them.|So here is our experience:|we arrived after 10pm bc we got stuck with our RV. We were warmly welcomed and helped by the staff. As they helped us get our 9m RV (we are travelling with grandparents, 2 kids and a dog) into the slot...an Austrian woman came out critizising how close we were to her...|Nxt day in the a.m. there were lots of different parasoles and deckchairs on the beach w/o ppl. We assumed they were the resorts' (as this was the case at the other campsites we stayed). A German or Austrian guy came screaming 5 min later offending us for using his things. We were embarrassed of course and apologized many times and moved away (very little free space elsewhere bc ppl can leave their things on the beach overnight...actually nice for ppl that stay longer). There weren't many ppl at the beach, maybe 5-10 max in the water spread out. Another Austrian lady came...we should get out with our dog. Travelled Greece for 4 weeks now and NEVER not ONCE did we have issues bc of the dog but I guess we were lucky to have only met Greek, Italian, US etc. ppl. In fact a Greek father passed us on this very beach with his two kids who asked to pet our dog. We were at least 20m away from the lady but she went to get the staff!!!! He felt uncomfortable and said that he doesn't mind the dog but if they call the coast guards it will be a problem. Then the German came again attacking us about the chairs. I apologized again then started arguing with him about playing police. He called me a "Polake" ( cussword for Polish ppl) and how I dare drive around with a German licence plate (I moved to Germany when I was 4 and lived in the|US and UK for 10 years now back in Germany therefore that plate). I told him that I am very sad that he reacts that way bc we travelled beautiful Greece with our two children, grandparents and dog and only met friendly Greek and international ppl. Now we are at an obviously mainly Austrian/German campsite and it's all this stress. Shame. He said there are LAWS and RULES. I guess....|Anyway we packed up our stuff and left. The staff smiled at this and helped us out of the lot.|I guess the Austrians/Germans (65+)need to travel over 2000km to make sure the Greek follow their rules. They managed with no dogs at the beach so now they should move on to the street making sure ppl keep to the speed limit, have their seatbelts on and wear a helmet.|Thank you Greek ppl for being soooo relaxed. I LOVE you for that! Never change and most of all don't let the EU change you please! Sorry we couldn't...

Der Standort des CP ist gut gelegen in der Nähe des Örtchens Finikunda.

Positiv: Hohe Eukalyptusbäume und anderes Gehölz bieten ausreichend Schatten Der Strand ist direkt beim CP gelegen, bietet feinen Sand und das Hineingehen ins Meer ist sehr angenehm, weil flach. Sanitäranlagen sind schon älter, waren aber sauber.

Negativ: Beim Check-in wurde die ACSI-Karte nicht akzeptiert sondern mein Reisepass verlangt mit dem Hinweis, dass € 28,- sowieso bereits ein "Special Preis" seien. Von anderen Campern erfuhren wir, dass der Preis aufgrund des Aufpreises für Strom von € 8,-/Tag (!) so teuer sei. Das ist unverhältnismäßig, denn wir betreiben lediglich einen Kühlschrank und laden unsere Mobiles sowie den Computer auf. Die Parzellen sind zwar schattig, doch sehr eng und für die heutigen Fahrzeuge viel zu kurz. Ein Camper nach dem anderen klebt aneinander und man fühlt sich wie in einer Sardinendose. Mit einem 6,40 Camper wie unserem war das Einparken kein Problem, aber längere Fahrzeuge tun sich damit und dem Reversieren in den engen Gassen sicher schwer. Es gibt am WC kein Toilettenpapier und bei den Waschbecken keine Papierhandtücher. Das ist mittlerweile jedoch Standard bei allen CP, die wir am Peloponnes besucht haben. Um 00:00 Uhr dreht sich im Bereich der Standplätze das Licht ab, nur der Weg entlang der Toiletten und Küche ist spärlich beleuchtet. Die Betreiber sind erst ab 09:30 Uhr am Platz, bis wir dann endlich aufgrund anderer Gäste vor uns bezahlen konnten, war es 10:00 Uhr bis wir endlich wegkamen. Die größte Frechheit kam aber dann bei der Bezahlung selbst - für die Bezahlung mit Kredit- oder Debitkarte wird ein Extrazuschlag berechnet und so hätte der CP volle € 30,-/Nacht gekostet. € 2,- Zuschlag für die Bezahlung mit Karte!!! Ich machte den Betreiber darauf aufmerksam, dass dieser Zuschlag seit 2018 EU-weit verboten ist, was ihn aber nicht zu interessieren schien sondern er nur meinte, dass andere Gäste angeeblich kein Problem hätten, Cash zu zahlen. Eine Rechnung erhielten wir erst nach Aufforderung und der Betreiber schien sehr erstaunt, dass wir wirklich eine Rechnung wollten... Jede Firma in GR ist per Gesetz verpflichtet, sofort eine Rechnung beim Zustandekommen eines Kaufs auszustellen! Widerwillig erhielten wir schlussendlich einen Kassazettel ohne detaillierte Aufschlüsselung der erbrachten Leistung. Bei allen anderen CP auf der Peloponnes ist uns das nicht passiert und einmal erhielten wir sogar am Folgetag zusätzlich zur Rechnung noch den Beleg per Email!

Die Frage stellt sich für uns, warum der ACSI-Aufkleber von 2025 bei der Rezeption klebt, wenn die ACSI-Karte dann nichts bringt bzw. nicht akzeptiert wird zur Identifizierung. Und die Abrechnungsmethode ohne Beleg erscheint mehr als fragwürdig und lässt eine vage Vermutung zu...

Wir sind jedes Jahr in GR unterwegs mit dem Womo, aber dieser CP sieht uns sicher nie wieder!...

Everything you need on a campsite and nothing you don't. Grounds are well maintained and facilities are cleaned regularly. Powerful hot water showers (with mellow jazz music in the bathroom in the daytime, nice touch). communal freezer, well equipped kitchen, basic mini market / cafe.

Unlike many camping grounds in Greece that claim to be on the beach, this one IS on the beach and quite a nice beach too. Lots of shade and many electricity points.

15 minute walk/ 5 min drive from main resort area. Very quiet at night for good sleep.

Staff friendly and professional.

No reason to stay anywhere else if the above is what you look for from a campsite.

I would only say that it is probably not a place to go if you are a large group looking for clubs and nightlife and wanting to be up late drinking etc because it is a campsite for...
