Nautilus Beach House for breathtaking sunsets — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

We stayed at the Nautilus Beach House in September of 2022! 6 months later I am still thinking about the wonderful time I had with my family and had the urge to leave a review. Argy was our amazing host! She communicated with us any time we needed something. She left us a delicious home cooked meal in the fridge when we arrived!! So nice since we arrived late at night hungry and tired. The house was beautiful with so many nice places to sit and watch the ocean. We had breakfast every morning in the patio. And then we walked through the yard right to the beach. Yes it is windy but so pleasant because it is a nice warm wind. Yes there will be airplanes flying right overhead but it didn’t bother us one bit! Also they stop flying after 11:30pm. And the night is quiet. The view of the emerald green ocean and the Mediterranean feel are so relaxing that nothing can stress you!! The beach in front of the house is not touristy and not the best for swimming but my two year old loved building with the drift wood and walking along the beach. It is a rock/gravel beach. We almost had the beach all to ourselves. Just a dream! The wind surfers were so entertaining and fun to watch. We would definitely stay here again!! We had a wonderful stay at Nautilus beach house. If you prefer being away from crowds of people and have your own beach you will feel very comfortable here. The house has everything you need for everyday life. The owner is very friendly and helpful, she takes care about guests even before arriving. We had tasty Greek dinner when we first came to the house and the fridge was full of food I asked to buy for us. It’s easy to get to Rhodes town from here and to the eastern shore if you rent a car. There are many good restaurants (tavernas) around. And sunsets are stunning. Every day it attracts you as much as in the first time. The sea is warm. It’s not calm, because of the wind but my children liked to jump on the waves. The color of the sea is impossible to describe - it is turquoise near the shore and ultramarine far away. For me, it was one of the biggest pleasure just watch the sea during the day. What was a little bit disturbing - is the noise of the planes. But in a coupe of days you almost stop notice them. Home away from home. We spent a month in this lovely villa and had enough space for four adults and two kids to move around without stepping on each other's toes. Our hosts, sister and brother, Argy and Tommy, could not have been more friendly or accommodating. We asked for a microwave oven and had a brand new one the next day. When we arrived, the fridge was stocked with plentiful beer and wine, and the bar was covered in everything from Turkish delight to chips. Four different coffee machine options, including a Frappe machine and lots of tea and coffee.... The villa is lovely and other than being close to the airport, and thus some noise from there, there were no immediate neighbours.
